Chapter 13: Ally and "Vari"

I was scared very much now. Not only is Brooke more than 5x my size, but she IS Vari. Like I said before when shape-shiftier turn into something, they TURN into it. She has all Vari's power and talent. Not only that, but Vari knew so much about me. I trusted her so I told her a lot. Now Brooke had all of that. Not gonna end well for me here.

Brooke started attacking me, not normal attacking. Icicles started coming flying at me, sharp as knives. I rolled and tumbled out of the way. My knees were bruised and freezing, but it's better than being killed I guess. Brooke wasn't going to give up. She levitated the snow up from the Earth and throw it towards me in a wave form. It's a scary feeling, terrifying really. I made a shield around me, it lasted just enough for me to run away.

"Wow, impressive you got away so far, but this isn't over! And remember, my power is 10x better than yours! Now let's get real." The Earth rumbled as the snow lifted off the ground. It formed into huge yeti-like creature. As they came up Brooke just stood there, like she was confident I was going to die.

The snow-monster-type-thing came after me. I fought them with my diamond sword and took down 2/3. This surprised me, Brooke, and the last Yeti I named Steve. Steve ran away, I don't blame him. As I was watching him run away, Brooke must have put him back because now there was a big pill of snow there. Suddenly Brooke grabbed me before I could react.

"Oh, Elizabeth. You may have taken down my snow army. And you may have think you won. That I am going to leave? Well not yet, not until I get my revenge!"

"Revenge, what revenge? What have we done to you? Have we left you out of something? 'Cause I don't remember!"

"What have you done to me? Well YOU haven't done anything, really. It's just... the power you have. I have lots of power too, but when have I been noticed. Every time I use my power it's 'what just happened?' This person is so weird, then screaming sometimes, and running away. That's what's going on." Brooke looked off into the sky. Now I know she wants to be noticed, but this isn't the way to do it. I mean death isn't the answer... most of the time.

Brooke continued. "And so far my plan has been working perfectly. You're here and I have control on you. Everyone was separated, now no one is coming. I think it's time to explain my plan. The guardians are all equal, right? BUT if one is throw out, then what happens? Well if you're gone, I turn into you. I'll be the new you, and no one will know the difference. I will be popular and know. I will be respected for my power! And you, well you won't be there to see it."

"Wait, isn't there like another way to do this sorta thing. I mean I'll serve you when you become me. You just have to let me go..... so yeah." I gave my best smile. It didn't work

"HA, you think I'm stupid don't you?" I shook my head.

"No, I think you're kinda scary and powerful." I wasn't lying.

"But if I let you go, you'll try to fight me again. How can I trust you? I mean before you were trying to kill me like 5 minutes ago?" I wasn't even going to bring up she wanted to get me first.

"Anyway, I can't believe the other disguises worked! I mean the french lady, chad, the Russian guard. I think you're confused about that, I'll explain. You see with the french lady, I though I'd corner you in Russia. Then you saw Kelsey, so I turned into the guard, to make sure you have less power to go back. That didn't work so I moved onto Puerto Rico. As soon as I did it I regretted it. I mean now you knew something was going on..."

"Sorry to interrupt, but I knew something was going on with the french lady. I mean random people don't just give you like $700 on the street."

"Yeah, whatever, but then you were in Puerto Rico. So I turned into Chad- to convince Aurora to stay. You wouldn't leave without her. Soon you left, then I knew it would have to happen in real time. ON ICE, so here we are." I looked around, like I said before. This isn't going to end well for me.

Brooke was going to take me away when a familiar voice echoed off the ice. "Elizabeth, I found him, I found him, I found him, I found him, I found him!" Ally came skating from down the street. She looked so excited with a touch of nervous. "Elizabeth, trust me. I found him!"

I blinked blankly, as did Brooke. "What do you mean? Did you find your parents? Or did you find someone else?" Ally stood out of breath and nervous.

"Sorry to interrupt, oh who am I kidding I'm not. But who are you? Can you leave I'm kinda in the middle of something here."

"Sorry, don't kill me, I'm human! But hey, when you take over the world and destroy mankind I'll be your assistant. I'll bring u coffee." Now this was getting weird, like really weird.

"Hmm, as long as you go away, serve me, and not talk to Elizabeth again. You may live, but scram!" Ally ran away into the icy world. I didn't know if I would her see her again.

"What was I saying? Oh yeah, let's go we have a lot stuff to get done. I want you to update your magic. Because if I use your potions a second time to freeze the world, it won't be as scary! And yes I became you, sneaked into your house, used a potion, and turned the world invisible. I'm surprised you didn't figure that out sooner. I mean you really need better security. I can become you, Lauren, anyone! Now let's go, my arm is getting tired holding you."

Brooke was turning around when a golden arrow flew past her face. I looked like it touched her nose, but it didn't. The arrow went farther and hit a tree. Then the tree broke from the force. I faced the other direction to find Laszlo wearing the angel wings and an awesome smile on his face.

Laszlo shot another arrow. It hit Brooke's shadowy hand and allowed me to drop to the ground. I slid over to Laszlo and pulled out my sword.

"Hi Laszlo, where were you?"

"I'll explain later right now I'm kinda busy and so are you. Besides we got this. I have a trick up my sleeve, just wait."

"Okay, I'm trusting you." I said this, I meant it. I trusted Laszlo. I wanted to talk to him, but it will wait. Right now it's 2 on 1 and Laszlo and I make a good team. This was going to be fun.
