Chapter 4 : The Next Evolutionary Jump: Following the Flow of Your Life

The theory of the "Big Bang" has it's champions and it's critics. I believe that both would agree that we, along with everything else in the Universe, are becoming more complex. Whether you follow along scientific lines or religious ones, life is advancing and everyone is scrambling to define it's measure. I take the road most romantic in believing that the purpose is more important than the plan. With the intent of extracting purpose, I will give my interpretation of what the beginning looked like.

Firstly, I would like to speak on intelligence. It's commonly thought of as a construct of the mind, thus, intelligence does not have physical properties, that it's a facet of a living creature. I ask though, where was intelligence before living beings roamed this planet? Is it only a few million years old? Will intelligence die out with the last living creature? Might I suggest that intelligence purveys every fiber of matter in this Universe. It makes up what we consider, 'dark matter'. It could be loosely defined as the connective tissue of the material world-the brain does not house Intelligence, Intelligence houses the brain. Intelligence desires to convey the message of unity, the message of love.

Because time as we know it is infinite, to express time beyond billions of years is irrelevant. When God, or the Universe, expressed the primal thought of Love, Intelligence ushered forth. In the form of a "Big Bang", energy expanded from a singularity which is considered zero matter. That matter produced intense light and heat which expanded outward. Where was Intelligence? In the light. Within this explosive expansion of the Universe, the properties of electromagnetism and gravity were created. Gravity and electromagnetism caused objects to attract each other based on several things to include mass, weight, and electric charge. Gravity and Electromagnetism were early Intelligent forms of Love. From those properties of this physical world Intelligence had a vehicle to produce Love.

As the plasma matter cooled, the gases of helium and hydrogen were created. These gases, because of the pull of gravity, began to pool and create very large balls of energy. These balls of fire and gas were the first stars. In their center, other elements like nitrogen and carbon were created. What was also inside of those early stars? Intelligence. Because of size and intensity of heat, these big balls of fire then exploded and sent the newly formed matter scattering throughout the Universe. Gravity, as with the original stars, began to pull matter together to form smaller stars and also planets. This "pulling together of matter" was an earlier form of Love; a characteristic of Intelligence. The Universe throughout this process has become more advanced; more intelligent. This Evolution has better defined the original thought of love. The intention to Love has become more intelligent, more purposeful on one planet in particular... Earth; Earth made the "evolutionary jump".

This planet, in its beginnings, was a hostile place. Poisonous liquids and gases, meteor bombardments, intense heat, all were prominent here, but as the Earth cooled something strange began to take place. On this blue planet, complex compounds of organic material began "pooling together", creating an array microscopic organisms of an autonomous nature-life developed.

The intention of the Universe is Love so these microorganisms began to evolve until finally mankind came to be. Now of all the creatures living and evolving on the Earth, man was the first to advance the intention of Love by caring for other races of being besides its own. Chimpanzees who are closest to humans in DNA structure did not behave this way, so it was man who made the "evolutionary jump". Men all over the world are caring for everything from plants and trees to animals and other humans, but the next "evolutionary jump" is upon us.

Intelligence must advance and it seeks people who will advance the Universe's intention of Love. Those who spend their lives loving and helping others will indeed feel the pull of the flow of Intelligence in their lives. They will ride the crest of Intelligence as it seeks to expand through inventions, social endeavors and the creative arts- all with the intention of bringing the Universe together. Now, although this is true for some, far too many will live mediocre lives, wasting away as the hard cold truths of this world over take them. While one is moving with the flow, another is stagnate and sick.

"Now, what does this have to do with me?" You ask. Well, the next step in developing future potential is following the flow of your life.

Are you doing what you desire to do in your life or are you doing what you have to do to survive? Without saying, most of us are not doing what we feel would bring us pleasure in life. We find jobs that pay the bills and date people we sort of have an attraction to, but we don't follow our hearts completely. We settle.

By doing this we negate the magic that has been prepared for us in this world. An effortless way of living that would have us happy and full of joy every morning that we awake. Far too much pain is being produced in the world; far too much heartache and terror. The Universe wants hearts full of joy and happiness because with this, Love can expand.

Yes, I know what you're saying, "But Chris, in order to produce happiness in others, there must be some pain already there. So pain is necessary."
And I agree with you. And also equally necessary if not more important is the Love needed to alleviate the pain, that's where you come in.
Following the flow of your life puts you in position to help the hurting souls of the world. Pressure and release are the ying and yang of this world, no doubt. Flow in the release, not the pressure.

As world financial centers fail and health epidemics rise, there will be those who appear impervious to the ailing affects of the ill changing world.

Live a life full of fulfilled hopes and dreams. It's not hard to do. Just believe it's possible irregardless of how it may appear at the outset. To follow the flow of your life is to be the "baby"of Intelligence, and it will take care of its own.

Set aside fear and doubt and pursue your dreams. It sounds so cliche but it's vital for achieving anything resembling any sort of success. The title of this book is "Matter Over Mind" and it was named such because I want to seize in your mind, the thought that your surroundings are controlling your future. However, your genius, your potential, and your future should be controlled by you and only you.

The next evolutionary jump will be the mark of the next Renaissance of mankind-an era of explosive invention and artist expression. There will be a great leap of intelligence in those who participate in this evolution of man. You can be a part of this by simply following the flow of your life. This flow may include things presented to you that appear impossible, but it only appears that way. You must say to yourself, "I was made for this!" Then begin to observe and watch how the answer unfurls right before you.

To help you to follow the flow of your life, this exercise should provide you with daily motivation to stay on track until you achieve your goals:

Take a couple of hours to list your goals, the dreams of your heart. Begin to imagine yourself fulfilling those goals. Allow your mind to wander and locate the joy and happiness that comes from the realization of attaining them. Give yourself one day of imagining this.
The following day, pay attention to anything that could possibly be connected to you achieving your goals and be ready to embrace bold interaction with people, experiences and places that thrust you in the line of sight of your dreams. You will not be disappointed with what you find!
