Third POV:
Mission Creek High...
Leo looks at Adam and Chase and starts, "Guys, with the dance coming up, I thought you could use a lesson on how to ask a lady out."
Adam questions, "Oh, great. Do you know a guy who can teach us?"
"Me!" Leo answers, before continuing, "You're gonna watch me ask out the girl of my dreams," Leo looks over at a blonde haired girl, sitting on a bench and he says her name dreamily, "Danielle."
"Danielle?" Chase questions, "Isn't she the girl who uses you as a footstool in math class?"
Leo looks at him as if he's grown two heads and asks, "Where else is she supposed to put her feet-- on the floor?!" Leo pauses, "Open your notebooks, boys, 'cause class is in session." Leo struts over to the bench that Danielle is sitting on and puts his leg on it, next to her. She looks at him and Leo starts, "Hello, Danielle. Do you know how much a polar bear weighs?" She shakes her head and he continues, "Enough to break the ice." He jumps onto the other side of the bench, sitting on it by her and introduces himself, "I'm Leo Dooley."
"Didn't you send me 87 e-mails?" She questions.
He answers, "Yeah. That was a slow day."
She nods and says, "Okay, well, see you later, Lenny." She grabs her backpack and walks away.
As she's walking away, he yells, "It's Leo, by the way." He waves and grins as she walks away.
Chase speaks up from behind him, "So, Leo... What should I write down in my notebook? I mean, other than 'denied'." Chase jokes.
Adam chuckles and says, "No, no, no, you can cheat off of me. I have, 'She's not going to the dance with Lenny.'"
Janet's POV:
Me and Bree are walking downstairs and she's telling me about her crush, Ethan. "I really want him to ask me to the dance."
"Don't worry, he'll come around." I try to reassure her, but I don't think it worked. We get at the bottom of the stairs and we see Adam, Chase, and Leo.
Me and Bree walk over to them and Bree starts, "Are you guys talking about the dance too? Why is everybody making such a big deal out of this stupid dance?"
Chase smirks, "Nobody's asked you yet, have they?"
Bree answers, frustrated, "No! I really wanna go with that guy. His name is Ethan. We sit next to each other in chemistry. Coincidence? I think not." She does this thing with her hands and sings, "Chemistry!" She pauses and asks, "What should I do?"
Chase walks closer to Ethan and says, "I got this." Chase pushes his hair behind his ear, to I suspect hear what they're trying to say. We're not that far away from where Ethan is standing so I just shrug it off. "He's talking about a girl he thinks is cute." Chase pauses, "Ooh! He's talking about you!" Bree gets excited. "He's coming over here right now to ask you to the dance."
Bree panics, "What?! No! Now? Why? Really?" Chase pushes Bree forward.
Ethan walks up to Bree and asks, "How's it going?"
"Ethan! What a huge surprise! To see you here, for reasons we do not know." Chase cuts in. I nudge him playfully in the ribs and shush him.
"Hey, Ethan!" Bree blurts and stammers, "How... uh, you know.. we... uh, you know... decided..." she points to the opposite side of him, "What is that over there?"
Ethan turned to look and so did I, curious as to what she was talking about. When I turned, I didn't see anything, but I felt a huge wind pass by me. How is there a wind when we're inside? When I turn back around, Bree is gone. Where is she? Me and Ethan both turn back around and Ethan asks before I can, "Where'd she go?"
