Davenport household....

Janet's POV:

I sit in-between Bree, who is texting on her phone, and Adam, who is laying on his stomach, eating popcorn, and watching TV. I stare at the TV, watching Adam flip through the channels. Suddenly, Tasha squeals from behind me, "Oh, this is so exciting! I have never been to Australia before."

I hear Eddy's voice, "Hey, maybe you'll like it so much you won't want to come back!"

Tasha asks, "Donald, honey, do you have the plane tickets?"

Mr. Davenport answers, "Honey, we're taking my fully automated private jet." He scoffs, "Plane tickets. Why don't we just slap on a bunch of stamps and mail ourselves there."

I reach for some popcorn in Adam's bowl, but he slaps my hand away. Tasha laughs, "Private jet. That works."

Mr. Davenport speaks up, "Okay, Leo, this is your chance to prove you're responsible enough to stay at home without us."

"Me?" Leo questions, turning to Adam, Bree, and Chase, "What about them?"

I sigh, snatching Adam's bowl of popcorn and grabbing a handful of it. Adam snatches it back, rolling his eyes. He thinks I can't see that small smile on his lips. Mr. Davenport answers, "They were designed to go on missions and save the world. You were designed to break stuff."

"Don't worry, I know the rules-- no touchy-touchy your stuffy-stuffy." Leo tells him.

"Leo, I'm serious. There's millions of dollars' worth of technology here." Mr. Davenport walks over to us. That's when we start paying attention, with me occasionally throwing a popcorn in my mouth. "So no goof-ups, no explosions, no fires-- You know what? I'm not going. I'm not going."

"Donald, Leo will be responsible. He is a big boy." Tasha reassures him before turning to Leo, "Sweetie, I left your flame-retardant undies on the dresser."

I chuckle and Leo glares at me. "Mr. Davenport," Bree stands, "Leo will be fine. I mean, we have Janet here, so, what's the worst that could happen?"

Adam and I stand and Chase grins, "Funny you should ask. I've made an actuary chart which covers every possible catastrophe. You have an 82% chance of coming back to a perfectly normal house." Chase smiles with his beautiful white teeth, "Happy travels." Wait-- did I just think that?

"Don't worry! Eddy is here to monitor every room in the house. He is like a virtual baby-sitter." Tasha tries to reassure Mr. Davenport.

"Yeah, and I virtually care about your kids." Eddy retorts.

Leo turns to Mr. Davenport, "Big D, I got this. No explosions, no goof-ups," Leo pushes Mr. Davenport towards the door, "no fires, no floods--"

"Wait. I didn't think about floods." Mr. Davenport cuts Leo off.

"Donald, let's go!!!" Tasha tells him.

We all push Mr. Davenport out. Leo starts to close the door, but Mr. Davenport stops him, "Okay, be careful. There's an inflatable raft in the closet."

"Goodbye! Go!" Leo shuts the door.

"Whoo-hoo! Party in the lab!" Adam cheers.

"Whoo!" Bree cheers.

"Did you not hear what Davenport just said? We're supposed to be responsible." Leo tells them.

I give Leo a look, "C'mon, Leo, what's the worst that could happen?"

Leo looks at me surprised, "Janet Jones the rebel?" He looks at Adam, Bree, and Chase, "What have you done to her?"

I roll my eyes, "Leo, c'mon, have fun for once."
