Janet's POV:

I don't know what to do anymore. I can't believe Leo lied to me. Adam, Bree, Chase, Tasha, and Leo lied to me. So did Mr. Davenport, but I just met him today, so, I'm not all that mad at him. I'm walking home right now and it's about 11 at night. This is a great time to clear my head. So, let me get this straight, Adam, Bree, and Chase are bionic superhumans with a chip in their neck that gives them abilities. Adam has super strength. Bree has super speed. And Chase has super smarts and super senses. Plus that forcefield that I saw earlier today. How could they plan to not tell me this? They knew I would figure it out eventually. I snap out of my thoughts when I almost walk past Brian's house. Should I? Should I not?

I bit my lip, unsure. I give in and knock on his door. I hear a faint, "Hold on!"

Seconds later, he opens the door and when he sees me, he looks surprised. "Janet?" He questions.

I look down, "Yeah.. um, can I come in?"

He opens the door wider and I walk in. "What are you doing here?"

"I just needed to see you." I half lie.

He apologizes, "I'm sorry for threatening Chase. It won't happen again. I know I did that after we had already talked about accepting each other and the people in our lives to be together. It's just.. I got angry and I wasn't thinking. Plea--"

I cut him off by kissing him. He kissed back immediately. When I pulled away, I looked into his eyes and saw that he was truly sorry. "I forgive you. It's alright. You were right," I pause, "About them, about everything. I'm sorry for not listening to you." I kiss him again and he kisses back.

He pulls away a little, "What happened?"

I'm about to open my mouth to tell him, but I remembered I cant tell Brian. It's their secret. Not mine. I have to keep it. Okay, I guess, I sort of understand how Leo feels. "Nothing. Nothing happened. They're not hiding anything. Trust me." I try to lie the best I can. I was never good at lieing, but I'm really trying right now.

People have told me that I'm an open book. Brian looked at me for a few seconds, "Your lieing." He steps away from me.

"No, I'm not. Brian. I'm telling you the truth. Why would I lie to you?" I ask him.

He responds, "Because you know their secret."

I look at him like he has two heads, "What are you talking about? What secret?"

"Babe, I've known you long enough to know when your lieing." He tells me. I look down, unable to look at him in the eye. "You know their secret." He lifts my head up with his finger.

I look at him in the eyes and tell him, "I don't know anything."

He responds, "If you don't want to tell me, you don't have to. But, don't lie to me about there being a secret. Cause I already know there is one."

I wrap my arms around his neck. He rests his hands on my waist. I apologize, "I'm sorry, okay? About everything. You were right. They have a secret, but it's not mine to tell. So just drop it." I rest my hand on the side of his head softly, "Please?"

He gives in, "Yeah, I'll drop it."

"Great. Now, let's not talk about the Davenport's anymore." I smile.

He pauses, "Got it. So, where does this take us? I miss you, Janet. This break is killing me."

I smile, "Well, I'm glad you feel that way. Because I was hoping that we could get back together. Let's not let other people get in the way of our relationship. I just want you and only you. No Chase. No secret. No Davenports." I got quieter and quieter as our lips were only inches apart.
