Warning:
There's a part in this chapter where some sexy things happen! If you do not feel comfortable reading it, that's perfectly okay. It is not relevant to the main plot, so you won't be missing anything important. I have separated that section with little *** things. Also, sorry in advance for being the worst smut writer in the history of smut writing. (Also, it's a v short section, don't judge me.)      -Chris

Dan watched the clouds and treetops rush by as the car carried him forward. He felt the warmth of the sun on his legs, and the cool air from the AC on his face. Music played through the car radio that he was glad to have bought. Dan felt relaxed and soothed by the little things happening around him. His eyes began to droop, so he leaned his head against the window, using his hand as a cushion. He was happy he had let Tyler drive as he slipped into an unusual dream.

He was joined by Phil in a large, grassy field. It was sunny, but soon ominous clouds came overhead, eager to drench them. Phil was frowning up at the sky, but looked at Dan and smiled brightly. It began to pour and thunder roared in the distance. Phil pulled Dan in for a passionate kiss. As their lips touched, a warm, welcoming feeling took over Dan's entire body. He felt a hand run gently through his hair as the kiss deepened, and he couldn't help but let out a moan when Phil gently nipped his bottom lip with his teeth. Then suddenly, Phil vanished during the kiss, and Dan was left in the middle of the storm. The warmth left his body and was replaced by the feeling of cold, soggy clothing sticking to his shivering body.

Something caused Dan to stir and slowly open his sleep filled eyes. He glanced around curiously and saw he was still in the car, but it was parked in the driveway of his house. He reached for the car door handle, but Tyler quickly put a hand out to stop him. With a worried look in his eyes, Tyler whispered, "I think someone followed us here."

Dan was confused by such a remark that he only managed to mutter a "what?" in response. Tyler's eyes darted out of the back window momentarily before he looked back at Dan. "That car parked in the driveway across the street- I think they followed us. They kept behind us most of the way, occasionally breaking off, but they always found their way back behind us. They're also just sitting in the car, I guess waiting for us to move."

Dan stole a glance at the car Tyler pointed at and did not recognize it as his neighbor's. It was a small, black car, whose windows had been blacked out so it was impossible to see inside. Dan felt his stomach flip with terrible anxiety.

He attempted making a joke to help lighten the mood. "Maybe it's one of my YouTube subscribers... a crazy fangirl wanting an autograph..." His voice wavered with nervousness, and he knew it was not the right time to be cracking lame jokes.

The other boy ignored the failed joke and focused on the situation in front of them. "Do you think it's safe to go inside the house?" Tyler asked, but he was obviously terrified by the idea of leaving the car.

"I don't know," Dan replied as he hyperventilated in the passenger's seat. "How can you be so sure they followed us? And why did you lead them to my house? You could've gone somewhere else to trick them! Also, why didn't you wake me up?"

Tyler shrugged defensively and said, "it was pretty obvious they were following us, Dan. There was hardly any other traffic on the road, and right now they are freaking pARKED ACROSS THE STREET FROM US, NOT MOVING. And where else were we supposed to go? We still would've been in the same situation as we are now! It wouldn't have mattered." He added an eye roll and a little huff of breath for extra effect.
