Lainey's POV *A week later*
"Parker, get off me." I groaned, as he pulled me closer to him.
"Carefully, babes. It might look like you're dating." Trisha set her lunch down next to Parker with Haley trailing after.
I rolled my eyes, Trisha has been so annoying lately. I can't even hug Parker without her scolding me like I'm some child. Not to mention, she's way to clingy to us. She has a whole table of people who worship her like she's a goddess, yet she chooses to shove her head up our asses.
Reggie was fine with this because it meant that Hayley would be with her. Now, I absolutely adored Hayley, she's a really sweet girl. By all means, so is Trisha at times, but we need some space.
"Our last date was the movies, I'm thinking more classy, like a restaurant." Trisha pipped up to no one in particular so it seems.
Okay, they're not even dating. Who the hell is she to make suggestions like they've been together for months?
"Maybe even a double date, Reggie and Hayley what do you guys think?" She looked to me. "Sorry, Lainey. I would include you, but you're single and would feel left out."
They started making plans for a double date and me and Evan decided to leave because we aren't exactly included.
"What do you think of Trisha?" I asked Evan as we strolled around outside.
"I'm not sure, but it just seems weird."
I stopped him. "Wait, what? What do you mean?"
"I'm not one to speak myself, but Trisha Mais? She's basically Queen of England, and she wants to sit and chat with the peasants? Needless to say, she even has a crush on one of us. It's not my place to say, but I find it sketchy."
I thought about his words, I just thought she was being possessive and clingy. Maybe she does have a motive.

"I can't believe the chick." Reggie complained. "Starts making plans for the damn date without anyone else's say."
After school, we hung out at my place without Trisha and Hayley. We get enough of them at school.
"Is anyone really going to refuse?" Parker spoke, "She's intimidating and manipulative. Definitely, knows how to charm."
I rolled my eyes. "Just stand up to her, why won't Hayley stop her best friend?"
"You don't ever cross, Trisha. Hayley tells me it's not something to even dream off. Which makes me wonder if she ever wants to lash out at her."
I scoffed. "I'm sure of that."
"One thing though, how come she only addressed Lain about her being single? She didn't say a word to me." Evan commented.
"She obviously did that to get under my skin in a nice, but slick way. Funny thing is though, the only real couple on that double date is Reggie and Hayley. So, she can suck-"
"Lainey! Chill, don't let her make you mad." Evan grabbed my shoulders.
"Just tell me one thing, when's the date, because it's about to be a triple."
