I walk through the school halls, totally ignoring the double glances all the students are giving me.
I didn't have my wig on, I'm wearing all black, my gun clearly exposed, but I don't care. This is my mission now, not S.A.M.A's.
Then I saw him, Jeremiah.
He was causally talking to his friends when I come up.
"Hey you," I grab his arm and spin him around. He looks at me in shock.
"Sarah? What are you doing here?" his eyes are full of surprise.
"I was about to ask you the same thing, when were you going to tell me that you went to school?"
"Uh, Jeremiah, what does she mean dude? Why wouldn't you go to school?" one of Jeremiah's 'friends' asks.
"Just ignore her, she obviously crazy," says another.
"That's enough!" Jeremiah snaps.
"Sarah, maybe here isn't the place. Let's talk somewhere else," he says softly.
"Sure," I lead him into an empty classroom.
"Ok, what's wrong," Jeremiah asks.
"I need your help," I begin.
"If it's on your first mission then you know I can't help becau-"
"I failed my mission," I blurt.
"What?" he looks shocked again.
"I didn't do it in the time limit. I didn't even know there was a time limit! But that's not what I'm here for, I need your help."
"On what? I'm sorry you didn't get through Sarah, I know how much this meant to you and-"
"I don't need your sympathy Jeremiah," I smile, "I need your help at my mission. I know that I'm not going to become a S.A.M.A agent," I sigh, still not trying to accept the truth, "But this isn't about that anymore, it's bigger than I thought, there's more of them."
"More of what," right, I hadn't told him my mission.
"Children of the Greek Gods, there everywhere but I think there's more," I explain.
"Greek Gods, wow! Our world has seems to find a new form of magic everyday," well he's got that right.
"Two children I saw, they weren't children of Greek Gods, I think they were children of different Gods," I continue, "So I need your help, to find whatever is going on."
"So let me get this straight," Jeremiah starts, "You want me to follow you to who knows where. You want me to go behind the S.A.M.A's back, which will probably end up with me losing my job, all so I can help you with your idea."
"Yes," I whisper.
"If it was someone other than you my answer would be no, but.."
I throw my arms around him and hug him tight, "Thank you," I breathe, Jeremiah really was a true friend.
"Let's get going, where should we start?" he asks, breaking the silence.
"I think I have an idea."
