I wait outside of New Rome with Jeremiah. Eric is placing a massive memory spell on New Rome, so they wouldn't remember what had just happened.
It's sad really. Reyna wouldn't remember me. She's probably the kindest and wisest person I'd ever met.
The rest of S.A.M.A started to walk into alleyways, heading back to S.A.M.A headquarters.
"So what now?" Jeremiah asks me.
"She comes back to headquarters," Eric says joining us.
"What? I didn't finish my mission in the time limit," I say.
"True," Eric nods, "You disobeyed direct orders, you used a spell without S.A.M.A's permission."
"How'd you know?"
"All forms of magic performed by non S.A.M.A agent are immediately," Eric answers.
"But it was her first mission," Jeremiah defenses, "Surely that gives some sort of exception."
"No. And you," Eric looks to Jeremiah, "You have shown disloyalty to S.A.M.A by teaming up with someone that I'm sure you knew, was going behind S.A.M.A's back."
"Please Sir, don't blame Jeremiah for this," I beg, "It was my idea. He's one of your best agents, you can't-"
"However," Eric interrupts, "You both proved determination and bravery when first facing M.A.A.B."
"So that means," Jeremiah says.
"It means Jeremiah, you are still a S.A.M.A agent, and Sarah," Eric turns to me, "Congratulations, you've passed your first mission."
I'm lost for words, "Thank you Sir."
"Miss Thompson, this is your chance, use it wisely," Eric gives a half smile and walks off.
"You did it Sarah," Jeremiah grins, "You're a S.A.M.A agent!"
