/Cat and Human/ UsUk- Chapter 23

~Cat's 3rd POV~

"Crumpet please?" "No" "Why?" "Because I said so" Hero was currently trying to get Crumpet to go play some baseball outside. Hero overheard Alfred (his owner) talking about making Arthur (Crumpet's owner) play it so Hero was SUPER interested about that.

"Let's turn to human cats and go outside pleaseeee" Crumpet sighed. "You know what, fine" Crumpet got up from the couch and followed Hero to the basement. They looked around to see Arthur doing yet another spell.

He said some words and, of course, backfired because Hero meowed loudly. For a second nothing happened but then a white flash appeared and disappeared, revealing Crumpet and Hero as half human, half cat.

"YES! MY PLAN WORKED!" Crumpet slapped Hero. Then Arthur turned around. "Did you two seriously come her for this?" Crumpet and Hero looked down and nodded.

Arthur rolled his eyes. "I'm going upstairs" He said walking to his bedroom upstairs. Hero looked at Crumpet. "I'm surprised he didn't yell" "Me too"

~change to human 3rd POV~

Alfred creeped up behind Arthur as he was walking to the bedroom. He was about to close the door when- "BOO!" "AHHH!!!" Arthur slapped Alfred and ran to the bed. "Ow!" Arthur started breathing heavily and was hiding behind a pillow. Alfred laughed and walked over to Arthur.

"Sorry I scared ya babe, I wanted to ask ya somethin'" Arthur eyed Alfred. "You scared me for a question?!" Alfred kissed Arthur's forehead and sat down with him. "Yeah..I was gonna ask ya if you wanted to go play baseball with me.."

"No" "What?! Why?!" "Because it's boring" Alfred smirked. "Or is it because you don't know how to play it?" Arthur blushed. "N-No!" Alfred laughed. "Yes it is! I'll teach ya, don't worry" Arthur pouted. "Fine"

~3rd POV cats & humans - at the park~

"Alright Crumpet let's play!" "Uh..how do you do this?" Hero laughed and walked up to Crumpet. "Hold the bat like this and the when I throw the ball, hit it and run to the bases. When you get back here without getting out, you get a home run. Easy?"

Crumpet shrugged. "I guess" Hero smiled. "Alfred?" Arthur said poking Alfred's cheek. "Yeah?" "Are we having teams?" "Mhm. you go on Crumpet's team, and I go on Hero's" Arthur nodded and went to his place and so did Alfred.

"Alright ready Crumpet?" Crumpet nodded and got the bat ready. Hero threw the ball and, surprisingly, Crumpet hit it pretty far. Alfred, Arthur, and Hero's eyes widened but then started to run and catch it.

Crumpet ran all the way back to where he started; earning a home run. The boys came back breathing heavily. "You can hit pretty good" Crumpet smirked. "Of course I can" And then Arthur took his place and held the bat.

Alfred threw the ball this time and Arthur hit it not surprised he hit it pretty far. He started running as Alfred and Hero chased it, and accidentally tripped over rocks.

Crumpet and Arthur laughed as Arthur got another home run and started to walk over to them. "Are you okay?" Arthur laughed, helping Alfred up. Crumpet helped Hero up as well. Crumpet and Arthur noticed the boys had a few cuts.

"Maybe we should go home now" They all nodded and walked home. When they got home, they helped Alfred and Hero clean their cuts and such. They all decided to just watch some movies and eat ice cream for the rest of the day.
