It was a cold morning like always. Arthur and Alfred snuggled up together in bed; one asleep and the other full awake. Alfred scavenged through all his social medias to check on anything really.

He kept looking down every once in a while to check up on Arthur, making sure he didn't accidentally wake him up. Alfred chuckled as he saw everyone so excited for Thanksgiving.

He was excited about it too! He had prepared everything just for him and Arthur, that way later on they could go straight to eating. He was so excited not just for the food, but seeing what Arthur though of his own cooking.

A few minutes later, he heard Arthur groan and turn away from him. "Well good morning, sleeping beauty" Alfred said, putting his phone down and grabbing ahold of his lovers hips.

Arthur lightly kicked him and tried pushing him away. "Let me sleep" Alfred laughed and checked the time. "Babe, it's almost twelve! Get up, come on!" Arthur whined louder and moved farther from Alfred.

"Maybe later..." Alfred pouted and pulled Arthur back, receiving a very loud screech. "Stop it you idiot!" Alfred laughed and kissed his lovers cheek. "Time to get up! We have guests coming over!"

Arthur quickly turned over to Alfred with a surprised look. "No! You said it was only us! Alfred, you dolt why would you invite other people?!" "Because!!! It's like a family day to give thanks to everything!"

Arthur rolled his eyes. "We should be thankful all the time, why this specific day?" Alfred covered his lovers mouth. "No more chit-chat and lets go!"

Later that evening, the two lovers gathered around the table with friends and family. It consisted of the two lovers, their parented, their siblings, and their siblings lovers (if they even had any!).

They all gave thanks to everything and enjoyed a nice dinner together. Making jokes and smiling all the time. You see, this day may be only once a year, but you should always be thankful everyday for this precious gift called life.
