Nalu: First, Last Love

Chapter 3

Lucy's (POV) me Natsu, Juvia and Gray set out on the quest. It consisted of saving a village from a giant monster everyone has been complaining about. Surprisingly Natsu and Gray where the biggest help. Neither got a scratch on them. Me and Juvia stayed together however we wasn't of much help. Then two went ahead and destroyed the mister entirely. I expected that from Gray because heck I've know him forever. I grew up with the guy. However, Natsu? How can he be on the same level as Gray? Is he really that strong? I wonder. 

Natsu's (POV) Wow this monster was a piece of cake. I think I went a little overboard by actually roasting him to impress Lucy. However, she mostly kept her eye on Gray. It seems like they're more than just friends to me. Me and gray went back over to Juvia and Lucy after the fight and apologized for summing up the mission so fast. "You idiots didn't save any butt kicking for us." Lucy said. "Sorry, maybe next time." I said smirking. "Your not that cool Dragneel." She said looking away. I smiled. "You know...have I ever told you how hot it is when you say my last name." I said making her cheeks turn red. "Sorry, your not my type." She said and stormed off. "Then what's her type?" I looked at gray. "She's never dated anyone since I've known her. So I have no idea." Gray said. Idiot can't you tell she likes you... Lucy's (POV) Natsu is starting to really make me go crazy. He needs to back off. I look back over to them seeing Gray talking to Juvia. My heart sinks every time I see them together... He's never looked at me...not once in these 16 years I've know him... "You Luce, check out this scar on my stomach." Natsu explained placing my hand on his abs. I blushed. "What are you doing. Stop it Natsu!" I screamed. Gray and Juvia looked to see what was going on. "What a bold move Luce." Natsu said making me super mad because it was really loud so that both of them can hear. Does this guy understand he's pissing me off? Gray's (POV) what is Lucy doing? I can't believe she would touch him so causally. I'm so confused. She's never dated anyone yet she makes move with Natsu on the second day knowing each other? That's not Lucy's style. I continued watching her and Natsu babble back and forth. Lately she hasn't even been goofing off with me much... I felt a tug on my shirt. Juvia's (POV) G-gray. You did g-good out there today." I said barely getting the words out. He blushed. How cute. "Thanks." He responded averting his eyes. "What's next?" I questioned. "I'm pretty hungry. Wanna grab a bite?" He asked. "Sure Gray-sama!" I said getting exited. "Sama?"he asked. "Sorry, my bad" I said getting sad. "No it's fine. I like it." He said walked towards Natsu and Lucy. I grabbed his shirt again. "Um...they can meet us back at the guild. Lucy told me she wasn't really hungry anyways." I said hating to lie. I wanted to spend some time with Gray. He looked at Lucy. "Oh, ok." He said with a sad expression. I don't want him to look at her like that. "Let's go." I said. "Natsu. We will meet you and Lucy back at the guild ok." I said walking with Gray. I didn't look back to see Lucy's expression but I guarantee it wasn't a pleasant one.
