I See The Light

As the famous rebel crew were finally allowed a day off after months of none stop hard work, they all chose to enjoy the day very differently. Sabine had journeyed into Capital City - accompanied by Zeb who wanted to buy some food - and retrieved some new paints and began a new masterpiece in her room. Zeb, once he and the girl had returned to the Ghost, took a long nap before watching the holo-net; he just wanted to eat and relax. Ezra was rather different from the two as he left the ship early in the morning with his backpack and entered the city; he had people to see, friends to help, money to earn. Instead of relaxing, he wanted to work and see those he hadn't seen in a long.

As for Hera and Kanan, they enjoyed the the morning by themselves before meeting up after lunch; they entered Capital City and walked around, buying a few things and talking about whatever came to mind. They even saw Ezra - he was carrying two large boxes for an old women who was leading him to somewhere. They stopped by Joe's bar and had a few drinks, as well as a meal for dinner; they stayed until the sky was full of stars. The pair returned to the ship, only sit in the field Hera had landed it in, as they watched the late night sky.

They sat shoulder to shoulder as they stared up "the view is beautiful, don't you agree??" Hera asked; the man turned to look at the woman beside him, his eyes full of love and awe "it is". Glancing beside her, Hera smiled as she felt her cheeks turn a light shade of pink; they locked eyes for a moment before hesitantly turning to return their glances towards the night star lit sky once again.

As their song came to a slow end, the couple leaned towards one another before finally, their lips touched; they shared a loving kiss before parting as their lungs began to beg for air. "I love you Hera Syndulla" the man stated as he stared at the woman before him; she smiled as she caressed the Jedi's face "and I love you, Kanan Jarrus". What neither of the two realised was that Ezra, on his tired way back to the Ghost, had seen the entire thing. Though, when he realised the obvious couple were about to kiss, his eyes widened before he rushed to turn and enter the ship.
