it's been 7 months now. they haven't talked ever since. school started a while ago too. they are both happy. i guess. ashley is now together with tyler and melanie has learned how to be confident. melanie goes to the same school that ash goes to, but they avoid each other. melanie still has a crush on ashley. ashley still doesn't know it.. everything is fine, right?
ashley's POV
"bye chumchum, i love you!" i said to tyler as he left for class.
i saw melanie. she looked at me with deadly eyes. i actually miss her. i'll try talking to her. i've said it before, but never really did it. our parents aren't as close either. i'm sad.
i went to class. this was the last class before christmas holiday. i was happy to be free of school, but i was sad because i knew that i won't meet tyler. he is going to hawai. lucky.
the class ended pretty quickly. it was officially winter holiday. yes.
i said my last goodbyes to tyler and went home.
when i went home i found this.
"can you meet me at the playground next to the coffee shop at 5pm? m.m."
it was a letter. a letter from melanie. i think. i should neet her. but it's already 4:56pm so i should go.
i went to the playground and there she was. swinging on the swing. looking cute. as alway.
what am i doing.
i guess melanie saw me because she smiled. she jumped off the swing and came closer.
"i have something important to tell you. something i've been holding up all this time." melanie said
"uh.. sure. spit it out." i probably sounded rude
"uhm.. i love you ashley. like, love love you. i've been feeling like this for a while now. that's why i left. i couldn't see you with another guy. i just couldn't."
"m-mel, i-i didn't know!" i was really surprised.
"i.. uh.. understand if you don't feel the same way."
"melanie, i love you. like, love you love you. but i love tyler too. but.."
"it's ok. i understand." before she left she kissed me. i didn't know what to do, but i didn't stop here. d-do i have stronger feelings for her?
