ashley's POV

"awh.. she's adorable." i put down my computer and went downstairs.

when i was downstairs, a surprise was waiting for me. melanie. mel was here. i smiled.

"hey cutie!" i said welcoming her.

"hi ashley!" she said and put a small kiss on my cheek.

i bushed.

"so are we going anywhere? i thought we are going to go somewhere tomorrow." i asked.

"nah i just wanted to hang out. i am really bored." she replied.

"maybe we can go grab a coffee?" i suggested.

"yeah, sure!" melanie answered and put a big smile on her face.

we went downtown to the little coffee shop. the same coffee shop where i told her about tyler. i tried not to think of him.

"so what do you think of this school? i mean, we didn't talk in school at all.." i tried to start a convo.

"oh, it's going very well. everyone is so nice and all.. i just missed you." melanie bushed.

"i did too." i leaned in for a kiss and she accepted it.

we ordered two coffees and talked about life. i learned that melanie was actually really lonely this year, tho it looked like she had lots of friends.

i told her about the trip to italy and gave her a little gift from there.

"it's getting a bit late.. and cold.. haha. maybe we should head home?" melanie WAS really cold. i gave her my jacket.

"t-thanks.." she blushed.

we went home and watched a few movies. some of them were sad, some funny and some just boring. but it didn't matter, be cause i was with my best friend, crush and the cutest person alive. melanie.
