Dancing The Night Away

(All I changed was the title)

(Shadow's POV)

Sonic and his family would not leave me alone since that incident. I don't know why I did that, but I just had an urged. I was forced to stay downstairs, and to sleep in the living room tonight. Sighing, I feel asleep on the way home in the car. I just want to sleep tonight, but I want to take Sonic to the last dance of the year. We had to miss Prom because of another 'incident' that happened. I rather not say what we did, but let's say we were 'busy' that night...

Sonic made me change me in his room into a red button up shirt with a black vest and black pants. Yes, he matched my outfit with my hair. Then he did the same. He wore a dark blue button up shirt with a black vest and pants. He was gonna be playing a few songs in the band tonight, but other then that, he should be with me.

"You dress up nice." Tails was waiting in the doorway. I just smiled and shook my head. "Love how you match with your hair."

"You can thank Sonic for that." I chuckled as I went over to him. He smiled and we walked downstairs. Sonic was making sure everything was going to be okay, since we had to leave early. I gave a quick kiss on his forehead, before we headed to my bike.

"Ready Shadz?" He asked as we pulled out. Sonic rested his head into the crook of my neck. He sighed with happiness as I nuzzled his head.

"I ready when you are. Last dance for me as a student." His arms tighten around my waist.

"I keep forgetting you're older, and in a whole grade above me." I chuckled and focused back on the road.

Once there, Sonic was testing out the instruments along with others. I stood off in the corner, waiting for the dance. Of course I wouldn't be able to dance with him for a while.

Once the dance was beginning, people started to enter. Sighing, the dance started and everyone did what they did. I listen to my beloved blue haired boyfriend sing, playing away on his guitar. I continued to smile, until girls started to ask me to dance. Since I was right by Sonic, Giving a quick look at him, he winked and continued to sing. I just rolled my eyes, and accepted on a girl's request. Her eyes went wide and she squealed. Quickly grabbing my hand, she lead me to the dance floor. I smiled down at her, causing her to almost faint. I just shook my head at her as a slow song started.

I danced with several girls before Sonic stop playing in the band. He rushed over to me, wrapping his arms around my neck. I chuckled as I heard the girls sigh with sadness. Sorry, I was already taken.

The dance was coming to an end, the last song a slow song. Sonic rested his head against my chest, wrapping his arms around me. I smiled as we danced, several other couples following our lead. I didn't pay any attention to anyone around, the only person I cared for was him. He was the only one for me, my only happiness in the world. I let the world fade away as I focused on him. Nothing else mattered now..
