20. Confess

Jisoo's POV

Suddenly Taekwoon leaned his body closer to me. My heart was beating so fast. I couldn't do anything. I stayed still in front of him.

Without knowing, I closed my eyes. I can feel and hear his breathing. It's so close. I forgot the fact that we're in Jeju having a school trip and else. I felt that there's only two of us in this world.

I felt a soft hand stroking my hair slowly. I opened my eyes and saw Taekwoon's face so close. His eyes focused at my hair. What I could do was staring at him. Then he changed his focus to my eyes. We had our eyes locked.

After a few seconds, he slowly pecked me. I was shocked. I didn't expect this coming. I glared at him unbelievably. He slightly smiled. I don't get why's he smiling. It didn't get awkward. I think it's strange.

"Jisoo-ya.." He called my name feeling burdened.

"Yes?" I responded.

"If I have a feeling for you, will you accept it?" He looked at my eyes. I can feel his sincere. Again he made my heart beating faster.

"Uh?" I was shocked by his word. It's my first time to get confessed. I didn't know how to reply. I gave him awkward smile. It's strange that I find it okay when he pecked me, but not when he confessed.

He smiled seeing my behaviour and took out something from his pocket. I wondered what's it. He showed me a small heart-shape he made by his fingers. While doing that, he gave me a smile that is so rare. It's a smile which can make your heart stop for a while. He got rid my burdened feeling.

"Now.." He put his hand in the same pocket again and this time he really took out something. It's a small hairpin. It has a pink-polkadot ribbon as its decoration. So cute.

"Do you like it? it's a small gift for you." I nodded when he asked. Then he tried to put that small hairpin on my hair. He struggled on how to put that. I waited.

"I can put it by myself.." I saw him find it difficult.

"No, it's okay. I think I get this." He has a competitive side of him.

"Here." He tried to put it on my hair, finally he did it. But the pin wasn't put perfectly.

"Fail." He pouted a little. Why's he so cute asdfghjkl when he pouted. I fixed it.

"How about this?" I showed it too him after I fixed it.

"You look pretty." I flustered when he praised me.

"Thanks.." I looked to his eyes and gave him a bright smile.

"Now, let's go back. It's getting darker." He suggested.

Since we were given free time until tomorrow, I stayed at the dorm. Lucky me my roommate was Bomi and 2 other girls. I'm not the type that can hang out with many people. I felt relieved too because the other girls went somewhere and maybe they will go back here before 10, or they will get punished. For dinner we ate ramyeon, we have to cook it by ourselves.

Still I can't forget what happened this evening. Those word kept repeating on my head. Argh, I don't know what to do. I rolled and rolled on the bed, hit myself with a pillow. Smile all over my face. Bomi who was busy with her phone looked at me weirdly.

I took the hairpin from my hair and stared at it for a long time. I screamed happily like a crazy person.

"Can't you stop that?" Bomi yelled at me feeling annoyed. I gave her a merong.

"Woah, where did you get that hairpin? so cute. Can you give it to me?" She asked after noticed the hairpin I hold.

"Secret. I won't tell you and I won't give it to you."

"You're so mean."

Taekwoon's POV

I got back to my room too and took a shower. So refreshing, the memory from what just happened keep appearing. I've never felt like this before. Suddenly my heart ache again. What is this. I scared if she would leave me, like what my mom did. I took a deep breath calming myself.

After done showering, Wonshik just came in.

"Jung Taekwoon, where were you? I searched you everywhere."

"I was at the place we went with Jisoo, remember?" I answered it carefully.

"With who? alone?"

"Oh.." I tried looking for a reason.

"I met Jisoo there." but failed. I chose being honest.

Then Wonshik gave me a strange expression like a perverted person.

"Don't imagine weird thing." I went pass him and gave him a punch on his stomach. He deserved it. Just like that one night passed quickly.
