Lauren hadn't left her room a week after the conversation with Camila. She had forgotten what it was like to talk to someone. No matter how much she enjoyed talking to the human she had to stop before she got emotional attached. Perhaps, they already had. Every morning Camila would play her music, which would blare through the house. Sometimes, she would sing along to the song and that would make Lauren's heart melt, considering she had an astonishing voice.

Lauren stared up at her ceiling, dried out with boredom. She didn't know why she was punishing herself for liking someone. Hold up, she didn't like them. No. She refused. She simply was enjoying the company and that was all. She rolled off her bed and strolled over to the door, that had remained locked for 7 days straight. She unlocked the door creaking it open wandering down the steep stairs. The clock struck three times announcing that it was '3:00am'. She tip toed down the halls passing Camila's bedroom, peaking her head into the room. Her breath was taken away when she saw sleeping beauty tucked in her mountains of blankets. She stepped into the room and leaned against the antique wallpaper that covered the majority of the walls in the house, as she watched Camila's beautiful resting body. She used her super speed and fled back to her bedroom falling onto her bed being drained from energy.

Camila yawned massively stepping down the stairs in the chilling house. She grabbed the blanket from her living room, wrapping it around her body intaking the scent that Lauren had left on it. She scrunched it up in her hand nuzzling her face into the soft quit smelling the sweet smell of Lauren, that made Camila smile brightly. She listened to little foot prints sprinting down the stairs and seeing Miracle run around the kitchen. Camila giggled loudly opening the back door for Miracle letting him run around the garden. She swirled around the kitchen making herself a cup of tea like usual.

CRASH! BANG! Camila frantically dashed up the stairs locating the noise. At the bottom of the attic staircase was Lauren sprawled across the floor, groaning in pain. Camila shook her head slowly grabbing Lauren's arm pulling her to her feet. Lauren wrapped her arm around Camila's neck leaning all of her weight on to the smaller girl. She dragged the weak creature to the nearest room, the study and sat her down on one of the couches.

"What's happening to you? Are you like... dying?" Camila asked worryingly sitting down next to Lauren, watching her regain her energy again.

"No, I just haven't had proper food lately." Lauren panted heavily laying her head back on the back of the sofa, closing her eyes gently.

"Oh..." Camila trailed off. "What exactly do you eat?" Lauren couldn't help but smirk once she had asked her that.

"Delicious, juicy, delightful blood." The creature whispered in a husky voice and cheekily winked at Camila, making her cheeks turn red. "Ever since you've moved in all I can eat are rats and mice."

"Ew, I had to deal with those dead rats as well" Camila whined scrunching her nose up in disgust and shoved Lauren's arm playfully.

Lauren laughed loudly remembering how she had purposely placed the rats in the cupboard to scare Camila and hoping she'd move out, but clearly it didn't work.

"Maybe you want to be my food?" Lauren giggled delicately tracing her black polished nails down Camila's neck as she swallowed hard.

Lauren hissed lowly revealing her pointed fangs shuffling closer Camila, turning her facial expression to a frown. Camila moved back until she reached the arm of the sofa and Lauren didn't stop, she wiggled closer with her scary, vampire fangs. Lauren's eyes turned to complete jet black, making Camila tremble with fear. Lauren stretched her arm in front of Camila, blocking her for being able to escape and edging her face closer to Camila.
