Chapter 29

After cleaning themselves up and crawling back to Lauren's and Camila's room sneakily, the four girls all sat in the hotel room. Lucy and Lauren conversed about plans they had to do to get to the destination that Lauren originally set out to go. Meanwhile, Camila was trying to comfort the new girl who was completely shaken up.

"So, what's your name?" Camila asked politely, flashing a warm smile to make the girl feel more welcomed.

"Taylor." She mumbled quietly as she tucked her knees into her chest shyly and kept a continuous stare at the floor.

"That's a pretty name." Camila grinned, causing the blonde haired girl to break into a tiny smile. "I'm Camila and that's Lauren and Lucy."

Taylor nodded and flashed Camila a shy smile as the brunette rubbed the girl's shoulder comfortingly. Lauren glanced over at the two girls, squinted her eyes slightly and felt something stir inside of her; jealousy.

"So, what's the plan?" Lucy asked, tilting her head to the side, whilst looking at Lauren.

"Well, my initial plan was to go to my friend's place on the other side of America, it would be an amazing hideout for me and Camila, since the vampire council will never go where I'm thinking of, nor are vampires allowed to go there." Lauren explained, glancing from each members face with a serious look.

"Then how will we be able to go there?" Camila asked with a quizzed expression across her face as she tilted to her head to the left slightly, which Lauren found completely adorable.

"I know people." Lauren answered briefly, trying to map out a mental plan on how they would get there.

"Ooo, gangster." Camila teased, achieving a small chuckle from Taylor and a suppressed smile from Lucy as the oldest girl glared at Camila irritatedly.

"Anyway, how are we getting to this... place?" Lucy asked as Lauren shrugged and let out an exhausted sigh. "How about we just drive?"

"With what vehicle?" Lauren huffed.

"I have an RV?" Lucy said as if it was obvious and Lauren eyes widened the size of the moon. "I've been travelling around the states in it for a while."

"Lucy, that's perfect!" Lauren cheered, pulling Lucy into a gigantic hug and almost squeezing the girl to death.

"I just need to get one of the tyres replaced on it, I called this guy and he said he was coming down later today." Lucy patted Lauren's back, before they pulled away and Lauren couldn't help but feel relief wash over her.

For the whole day, Camila had spent her time with Taylor and answering her questions about the new lifestyle. Right now, Camila was sat opposite the light haired girl on top of the bed and both of them had their legs crossed over. Meanwhile, Lucy and Lauren were sat at the small table in the corner of the room, mapping out their route for the long road trip. Lucy was the most modern vampire out of them all, excluding the new one, and fitted in to society well. She had enough cash to provide for gas for the majority of the ride, but also the blonde chipped in money for trip too, since it was suppose to be a holiday cash.

"So, did you come here alone?" Camila asked curiously to Taylor. "No friends, family, boyfriend or... girlfriend?"

Lauren practically whipped her head back when she heard the words fall out do Camila's mouth. Luckily, Camila had her back facing to Lauren, so she couldn't see the deadly look she was getting off of her, instead Taylor was getting the glare.
