The following morning, Camila was up and dressed by 8 o'clock. She was unable to sleep since she had another nightmare and didn't go back to sleep. Camila dashed down the corridor as she stopped at the bottom of the staircase of Lauren's room as she slowly crept up them. She pause outside Lauren's front door as she bit her lower lip and breathed out nervously.

"I know you're out there." Lauren said as she opened the door and the two girls were face to face.

"I'm sorry... for calling you are monster, it was out of line." Camila apologised as she entered Lauren's room and the taller girl just shook her head. "I know you think less of yourself when people use that word."

"It's true, though."

"It's not." Camila demanded. "I know you hurt people--"

"Kill people." Lauren interrupted, correcting Camila's terminology and Camila could see how much the word 'monster' effected Lauren.

"Kill people, but you can't help it, right?" Camila flashed a sad smile as Lauren scoffed and shook her head sinisterly.

"No, I could just drink animals, but humans just taste much nicer." Lauren grinned as she watched Camila's face trembled and the brunette couldn't help but take a step back.

"I know you're saying that to make me scared."

"And you're not?" Lauren chuckled evilly, this wasn't Lauren; not the proper Lauren.

Camila swallowed hard as she shook her head firmly, but the rest of her body was shaking uncontrollably. Lauren pushed Camila up against her bedroom wall and glared into the brunette's chocolate orb.

"What about now?"

Camila, once again, shook her head to Lauren's question as her body trembled terrifyingly and Lauren toyed with her lower lip. She tightened the grip around Camila waist as Lauren brushed her lips against Camila's neck, sticking out her fangs intimidatingly.

"What about now, Camila?" Lauren whispered down Camila's ear, her hot breath sending shivers down the brunette's body.

This time, Camila couldn't answer. She was terrified. Lauren could feel the brunette's heart pounding through her chest and her pulse beating quickly through her neck. Lauren's mouth was nearly watering, she inhaled Camila's scent and all she could smell was her delicious blood.

Lauren stepped back releasing Camila from the strong grip as Camila panted heavily and calmed down from her near panic attack.

"It's not over yet, princess."

Within that second, Lauren pounded Camila onto her bed and straddled her torso as she pinned both of the brunette's hands down above her head. Camila's breathing hitched as the panic rushed back over her body and Lauren grinned mischievously.

"You haven't spoke in a while, cat got your tongue?" Lauren chuckled, using her free hand, she traced her fingertip down Camila's neck and trailed towards her chest. "Say something, princess."

"Th-this isn't La-Lauren." Camila stuttered as she tried to wiggle her hands out of Lauren's grasp.

"Oh innocent Camila, this was just the side she tried to hide." Lauren flashed a toothy grin as she ran her fingertip over Camila's breasts, causing Lauren to lick her lips. "See, I'm the real monster of Lauren, the inconsiderate, heartless creature that doesn't give mercy to any human life."

Camila gulped, staring into Lauren's black, soulless eyes as Lauren drew her attention to Camila's chest. Catching Lauren off guard, she freed her right hand and with all the force in her body, she slapped Lauren's face. The creature shook her head slightly and Camila couldn't help but feel a wave of relief wash over her body, when she saw Lauren's eyes turn back to the mesmerising green.
