"Camila, no!" Lauren pulled Camila back from the front door as the brunette hissed loudly, flashing her fangs and black eyes.
"Two days, Lauren, I've waited two whole days!" Camila yelled, yanking her arm away from Lauren and scurrying to the door, but Lauren slammed her back against it, blocking Camila's exit.
"What have I told you? You need to cut down or the vampire council will kill you!" Lauren shouted, causing Camila to become silent as the two dark haired girls stared at each other intensely.
"I don't care." Camila muttered as she rolled her eyes and shoved Lauren out of the way of the door, being a lot stronger than her.
Before Lauren could regain balance on her own feet, Camila had already disappeared from the house. Lauren shook her head in frustration and slamming the front door angrily as she stormed into the kitchen, sitting down at the island. She ran her hand through her hair stressfully as her mind went through thousands of ideas on how to stop Camila's strong addiction. It had been 2 months since Lauren had got the warning and death threat against Camila. Lauren had explained to the new vampire what would happen if she continued this violent lifestyle, but Camila was disinterested. After babying Camila, Lauren had got her own urge under complete control, even though Camila provoked the addiction.
RING-RING! The telephone interrupted the silence throughout the household as Lauren tilted her head confusingly, no one had rang her house line in years and it was peculiar to have someone ring her anyway. Lauren dashed into the hall and picked up the phone, hesitantly placing it to her ears.
"Do my eyes deceive me or are the mysterious killings in your town rising?" Alfredo's mocking tone was first heard down the line as Lauren took a nervous gulp, her hand shaking slightly and her forehead sweating from her anxiousness.
"Alfredo, I have four months to control her, stop rushing me." Lauren chuckled replying with humorous sarcasm as she gripped the phone tensely, but she wouldn't let Alfredo know she was nervous.
"You have zero experience in helping newborns, I can smell the failure from miles away." Alfredo's tone turned more serious as Lauren swallowed hard leaning against the wall, keeping the phone a certain distance from its originally position.
"Help me then, you did it for me." Lauren toyed with her lower lip and glanced around the room anxiously as she heard nothing but silence from the other end of the call.
"I failed you, you were still out of control when we parted and still are." Alfredo shook his head and Lauren huffed, she needed someone's guidance if she was going to help Camila. "Fine, I'm only helping you because I'm fond of you, Jauregui."
"I look forward in seeing you." Lauren grinned as she was extremely made up that she had got her own way, she heard the dial tone meaning Alfredo had hung up.

Later that evening, Camila had came back looking completely exhausted and covered in blood from head to toe. Lauren darted down the corridor once she heard the large door open and close and scrambled down the stairs, seeing Camila stood in landing with a emotionless expression as Lauren stepped in front of her.
"So much blood..." Camila mumbled as she fainted into Lauren's arms and noticed Camila had a metal pole speared through her lower back.
Lauren's eyes widened as she picked the brunette up off her feet and shot up stairs, taking Camila to the bathroom. Camila stood in the bathtub, her legs wobbling like jelly, as Lauren stared at the pole launched through her back. She knew this wouldn't kill Camila, because their was only two ways to kill a vampire, a wooden stake to the heart or twisting their head off.
"This is gonna hurt, baby." Lauren whispered to Camila as she extracted the pole from Camila's back and the brunette let out a blood curdling scream.
Lauren dropped the weapon on the floor as she carefully lifted Camila's shirt over her head and threw it on the tiled bathroom floor. She delicately slipped off Camila's bloody jeans as the brunette gripped onto Lauren's shoulders for support, then the older girl switched on the shower head. The water washed away the dry blood of Camila's victims, then she turned around so the water would pour over Camila's injury. Once the the warm liquid hit Camila's cut, she let out a loud, painfully grunt as Lauren rolled up her selves and dabbed a hand towel over the wound.
After the injury had stopped bleeding, Lauren switched off the shower and carried Camila to her bed, placing her down on the soft mattress. Camila sat on the edge of her bed, with her towel wrapped around her body as Lauren brushed the brunette's wet hair and tied it up into a messy bun. Lauren took the towel off Camila and analysed the wound, it had already begun healing and Lauren was thankful that vampires could repair quicker than humans.
"So, what happened?" Lauren asked as she kissed the back of Camila's neck comfortingly, running her hands up the sides of Camila's damp body.
"I tried taking on a gang of lads, I still won." Camila's voice was raspy and she flashed a weak smirk as Lauren searched through Camila's wardrobe, grabbing an oversized sweater.
"I knew you shouldn't of gone eating without me, Camz." Lauren seated herself behind Camila, putting one leg besides the brunette and planting another soft kiss on her shoulder.
"I was hungry." Camila shrugged as Lauren unclipped the smaller girl's bra spontaneously and Camila's cheeks turned to a dark crimson colour, awkwardly covering her chest.
Lauren chuckled at Camila's actions as the taller girl pried the brunette's arms away from her chest, showering the back of her neck in little kisses. Camila let a small giggle from the ticklish feeling Lauren was creating with her soft lips. Lauren eventually placed the large sweater over Camila's body, then snaking her arms around the smaller girl's waist and crawling into the wide bed. Camila shuffled next to Lauren, letting out a few loud grunts from the shooting pain up her back.
"You're a naughty vampire." Lauren whispered as she ran her hand through the brown locks of Camila's and Lauren bit her lower lip.
"I know and I like it." Camila grinned, digging her face into the crooks of Lauren's neck as she draped her arms over Lauren's hip. "And you're so whipped, Lauren Jauregui."
"Indeed, I am." Lauren agreed, letting out a small laugh at end of her reply as Camila smiled into Lauren's skin.
Lauren toyed with her lower lip as she watched the peacefully brunette lay in hers, she was debating whether to tell Camila of Alfredo's arrival. Lauren remembered how Camila clearly didn't like the vampire council, because they scared her and obviously they might kill her. So telling Camila about Alfredo coming to help her could causing her to runaway or something, also she could deny Alfredo's help which wouldn't be great.
"God, my back is in so much pain." Camila whimpered as she gripped hold of the back of Lauren's shirt tightly and bit down her lip.
"I'm sorry, it'll heel soon." Lauren mumbled against Camila forehead and planted soft kiss on head reassuringly, then started to run circles into the top of Camila's back.
"That makes it feel better." Camila smiled weakly and closed her eyes gently, resting her whole body against Lauren's.
