Camila slowly peeled her eyes open and was startled by Lauren sitting with her legs crossed over on her bed, just staring at her. She had remembered last night and how she had that horrible nightmare, also that her and Lauren had cuddled all night. Camila sat up from her bed and scanned over Lauren's body, seeing the vampire holding a rather large box.

"This is your birthday present, I know it's a day late but I never had a chance for me to give it to you." Lauren explained as she smiled brightly, placing the box on Camila's lap carefully.

"Lauren you didn't hav--"

"Shh! Just open it." Lauren placed a finger over Camila's lips as she glanced down at the box and retracted her hand back.

Camila laughed, pulling the lid of the nicely decorated box and revealed a retro typewriter. Camila's mouth gaped open as she lifted the typewriter out and put the useless box out of the way. Camila delicately ran the tip of her finger across the buttons off the typewriter. She held up the typewriter looking all around the object, her shocked expression not fading.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much!" Camila screamed as she jumped forward and pulled Lauren into a massive hug.

"It's fine, I'm glad you like it." Lauren smiled happily as Camila squeezed her arms around Lauren's waist tightly and dug her face into the older girl's collarbone.

"I've always wanted one of these, I love it so much!" Camila yelled loudly as she tightened her arms around Lauren.

"I can't... breathe." Lauren giggled as she removed Camila's arms from her torso.

Camila stared at the mesmerising typewriter as she picked it up and walked into her study room, Lauren following behind Camila. Camila walked up to her desk and moved her laptop, then placed the typewriter down delicately. She smiled excitedly as she hugged Lauren once more and the creature rolled her eyes playfully, wrapping her arms around Camila's neck. Camila was like a big child, Lauren pulled away from the embrace, looking down at the overly happy Camila.

"Anymore nightmares?" Lauren asked as Camila's facial expressions dropped and she lowered her head. Lauren lifted Camila's chin up with her fingertips and looked into Camila's coffee eyes. "It's alright, I just want to know if you're okay."

"I had another one."

"Really?" Lauren gasped as she rubbed Camila's arm and the brunette just nodded shamefully. "Want to talk about it?"

Tssss... tssss... tssss... Camila chucked another raw slice of steak onto the sizzling pan as she waltzed around the kitchen preparing herself dinner. The scent of cooking meat rumbled Camila's stomach and roaring sounds escaped her empty belly as she placed down a polished plate on the counter.

She was incredibly hungry, but she wasn't the only one starving.

She heard heavy, slow footsteps behind her as she twirled around, her dress flaring out slightly. There stood Lauren, well what thought to be Lauren. See it looked like her, but if she stared into her eyes you couldn't see the real Lauren. Just soulless, black eyes. A wave of panic washed over Camila's body as she knew what Lauren was capable off in this state of mind.

Camila dashed for the back door, but soon felt the creature grab her and pin her up against the door. Lauren wrapped her hand around Camila's throat as she held the weak human still.

A blood curling scream shook the house, as Lauren sunk her fangs into Camila's neck and drained the precious blood from Camila's body. Lauren gripped her neck tightly, with her teeth, and ripped Camila's throat from her body. Lauren dropped the lifeless corpse as the viscous blood ran down Lauren's chin.

"They're getting more graphic." Lauren frowned as she pinched the bridge of her nose stressfully, she knew it was all her fault for these nightmares.

"They'll go away soon, it's no big deal." Camila shrugged, gliding pass Lauren and returning back her room.

"Are you sure? I mean, will you be okay? I'm sorry this has--" Lauren rambled on, following right behind the smaller girl.

"Lauren, I'm fine, stop panicking about me." Camila butted in and turned around to face Lauren as she rubbed her arm reassuringly.

"It's just you humans are always having proble--"

"Lauren..." Camila chuckled lightly when she knew the creature was worrying over her again.

"Oh sorry." Lauren muttered. "But, if you need any--"

Before Lauren could finish her sentence, Camila crashed her lips onto the monsters and delicately placed her hands around Lauren's neck. The kiss only lasted a few seconds, since Lauren pulled away and stared at Camila with widened eyes, that were filled with shock. Lauren hesitantly put her hands around Camila's waist and edged closer to her plum lips, hovering in front of them anxiously. Camila locked their lips again and deepened this kiss by running her tongue along Lauren's lower lip, asking for entrance.

Soon Camila's tongue was roaming Lauren's mouth as Lauren slid her hands up and down Camila's back. Lauren fought her tongue with Camila's as she pushed the smaller girl up against the wall, then pulling away from the kiss. The two dark haired girls stared into each other's eyes as Lauren placed her hand on Camila's cheek and rubbing her thumb over Camila's sensitive skin.

Lust and desire reflected from each of the girls eyes as Lauren leaned in reattaching the lips more eagerly and pushed her hips against the hard surface. Lauren gripped onto Camila's waist as she picked her up and the smaller girl wrapped her legs around Lauren's torso.

Without breaking the kiss, Lauren carried Camila into the bedroom and laid her down on the bed as she climbed onto Camila's lap. The two girls paused for a brief moment as Lauren pecked Camila's cheek and trailed small kisses down her jawline, creating quiet moans from the brunette.

Lauren slowly planted kisses along Camila's neck as she inhaled the scent of Camila's skin and the urge for blood grew deeper for Lauren. Lauren could feel Camila's pulse in her throat, pumping faster and faster with each kiss. The warm blood racing around her veins, that Lauren could sense, made her mouth water. No, Lauren could suppress the blood crave for Camila no matter how desperate she was to taste the precious liquid.

Lauren started to unbutton Camila's blouse as she ogled at Camila's perky breasts and pecked her collarbones gently. She removed the garment and chucked it on the floor, gazing at Camila's top half body in amazement. The brunette grinned seeing Lauren's reaction to her body, it made her feel so good about herself. Lauren started to grind her crotch against Camila's thighs as she kissed down Camila's neck and the blood craving urge came back.

She felt her eyes turn black and Lauren was gone.

A loud hiss startled Camila as she noticed Lauren was about to bite her, but before she could sink her fangs into Camila she shoved Lauren off of her. Lauren fell back onto the floor, shaking herself back into reality as her eyes rolled back to the normal green colour and her deadly fangs retracted back. Camila crawled backwards on the bed with a horrified look across her face.

"Camila, oh god, I'm so sorry." Lauren shot up from the floor and edged closer to the bed.

"Sta-stay ri-right the-there." Camila stammered as she swallowed heavily and her whole body shook crazily.

Lauren's facial expression dropped as she saw how frightened Camila was and a wave of guilt washed over Lauren. She had almost forgot the monster she truly was, how it was impossible for her to sustain a stable relationship. She must of been out of her mind to even think she had a chance with Camila.

"I'm sorry." Lauren muttered, feeling her throat clog up and within a blink of an eye she vanished up the stairs, using her super speed.

Camila sat on her bed, overwhelmed by the current events and still feeling the fear shake through her body. What the hell had just happened? It all came crashing down too quickly. First, she was enjoying Lauren's kisses and next thing she was having to get Lauren off of her, because she was going to kill her.

Camila climbed off the bed and slipped her on blouse, leaving it open and loose. She calmed from her adrenaline as she paced around her room trying to decide wether to call it a night or to talk to Lauren. She would have to face Lauren eventually.
