Chapter : 5 Father's day

hi guys! dapat pang father's day ito but i went out yesterday.. so late na post... anyway

Day 2 of the rehearsal, i make sure that i"m always on time, i hate being late. Arrived at the studio 2 hours before call time and went to my dressing room to fit the clothes that i'm going to wear as well as what my make up or hair will look like. I found the voice kids harder to film than the version for adults cos these are kids, they don't know what heartbreak or failure feels like whenever none of us will turn. I always make sure to try to comfort them the best way i know how and encourage them to don't ever stop singing. There's a lot of tears and pure honesty that comes out from their mouth. I hadn't experience joining a singing contest. I kinda just stepped in the business after i auditioned for "The King & I" and "Annie" then the rest is history.

I sing the lyrics in my head so i am prepared when the taping starts. I am a perfectionist. I need to be ready the moment i got here. I am done with my make up and already wearing my comfortable uniqlo outfit and my adidas stan smith. I walk with my assistant and wave at the fans who's cheering for me and saw Sharon already testing her red chair. She smiled at me sweetly as i go near her and embrace her tight. We still have a few minutes to catch up on each other. We shared laughs but interrupted by one of the staff.

"Ms. Lea, Ms. Sharon, pasensya na po pero pack up po tayo today."

"huh? why what happened? is there any problem?' i said

"kasi po coach Bamboo couldn't make it. "

"o bakit daw? ano nangyari kay Bamboo?" alalang tanong ni coach Sharon.

"I really don't know po the exact reason, pinasabi lang po ng manager nya" she excuse herself then talk to the audience.

I massage my temple and trying to control my temper then sharon tap me on the shoulder..

"C'mon Lei, let's just pray na wala nangyari masama kay coach Bamboo."

"The point is i don't think may nangyaring masama sa kawayan na yun"

"What do you mean? anyway Lei ang cute ng picture nyo dalawa ha! answeet!' with matching kinikilig pa.

"What picture? Our picture here on the voice?"

"no. picture nyo lang dalawa" she put her phone out then show the pic... the one where Bamboo stole a kiss from her and kissed her on the cheek.

"Oh that one. Which remind me how that pic was taken. He stole a kiss from me!" i said with annoyance in my voice.

"yihee, dyan nagsimula ang nanay at tatay ko e" panunukso pa ni Coach sharon.

"huh?" puzzled with what she said..

"Aral aral din kasi magtagalog Lei" pangungulit nito

"Excuse me coaches, i would like to apologize in behalf of Bamboo" Pancho his manager said

"Okay lang Panch, how is he?' said Sharon

"No, Shawie it's not okay. ang dami nyang naistorbo na tao dito. everything is set then all of a sudden he'll decide not to show up kung kelan last minute na? what the heck?!"

He bowed his head cos he's ashamed of what happened, he cannot make up an excuse so he told what he know...

30 minutes Ago..

ring ringg... pick up Francisco.. someone answered and his voice doesn't sound so sleepy so it's a good sign knowing he's up and not on his bed anymore. I raised the volume of my voice to make him realize how disappointed i am.
