"Babes, can you go with me later in the afternoon?" As he hug her from the back

"Where are we going?"

"Charlene wants me to take Alexa with me to the mall and look for a dress. I need you to be with me, please" with nuzzling her hair

"Who????" As she face him confuse if she heard a familiar name.

"Si Alexa hon, hindi ka naman nakikinig e"

"Who's asking you to take Alexa with you?"

He let go of her and turn his back on her "my sister"

"What's her name? And why are you calling me hon?"

He already face her "it's clarice and i just want to call you hon or babe, pareho lang naman yun."

She sat on the couch as if having a deep thoughts then he sat beside her and put his arms around her shoulder.

Lea stood up without saying a word which prompt him to follow her.

"Babes, what's wrong? Ang cold mo naman e. Gusto mo ba magpa init?" With naughty smile on his face.

She stop from walking and face him "wala naba talaga iba laman yan utak mo kungdi sex?! You want me to tell you what's wrong? First thing first you said your sister's name is Charisse then i heard you say Charlene and Clarisse! Pinagloloko mo ba ako?! And i am not your hon! Nagkamali ka yata ng tinatawag!"

"Akala ko ba matalino ka? Napaka shallow ng issue mo. Her name is Charisse, pwede bang nagkamali lang ng nasabi? Lahat ba gawan natin ng issue?! I think you're just making an excuse para bumalik sa Rob na yun!"

"Isn't it enough reason that's it's you i chose? I am here with you and yes we are together pero bakit parang ang layo mo? As if i don't know you too well. Let's call the engagement off."

He touch Lea's face and started to plead.
"No babes! You cannot do this to me.. To us.. Okay i'm sorry pagod lang ako" he hug her tight .. I should've not raised my voice on you.

Lea's face softened and bow her head "i'm so sorry too"

He cupped her face and kiss her on the forehead.
"So pwede mo naba ako samahan sa mall? Cos i like your style babes and besides ano ba alam ko sa pagpili ng damit for girls diba?"

She pinched his nose "okay po, sasamahan na but babes, can i just follow. There's a meeting i need to attend to"

Keep on looking at his watch..

"Tito, don't worry she'll be here soon." Alexa smiled and so as Bamboo

"Ahm baby, what gift do you want for your birthday? Do you want a big doll?" Umiling lang ang bata.. "How about a new ipad?" Iling then he remembered something "do you know the vr box where you'll put your phone inside and the picture will become 3d?"

"Tito i don,'t have a phone. I'm not yet allowed to have one and i have so many toys already"

He kneel infront of Alexa so they're the same height. "Ano pala gusto ng princess ko?"

She look down "i just want to see daddy..tito, you think he'll remember my birthday? Do you think he'll be there?"

"I'm not sure princess." While touching her face and wiping tears from her eyes. "But i promise you that everything's going to be fine so stop crying kasi mas nasasaktan ang tito"

She wipe her own tears and hug him tight "i love you tito!"

" i love you too sweetheart!"

Lea's POV

The meeting took so long and it'll be rude of me to use my phone inside the conference room. I got my phone inside my pocket and saw multiple text and missed calls from Bamboo.. Just texted him that i'm on my way but while i'm putting my phone inside my bag and walking fast at the same time, i just felt a broad shoulder bumped into me that made my phone slipped from my hand.

"I'm so sorry miss"

"No, i am so sorry" as i get my phone on the floor but his hand touches mine that made me look at the guy's face. "Ian?"

"Hon? I mean Lea?"

He help me stand up still holding my hand then suddenly embraced me.

"Ah Ian, i can't breathe"

He let go of the hug but still holding my hand "how are you? I missed you!"

"Okay naman.. How are you? When did you come home? Are you back for good?" I said

"Yes! I have meetings here. They offered me a new telenovela and a movie i guess.."

A bit of silence "lea, are you married already?"

"Not yet but i'm engaged" showed him my finger with my engagement ring.

His smile faded "nagkatuluyan din pala kayo ni Rob. He's a lucky guy"

"Not Rob. A different guy." And i bowed my head.

"Huh? You cannot marry me then bcos of Rob right? So who's this other guy you're talking about now? Sorry i'm confuse"

"It's a long story. How about you? Where's your wife and kids?" Trying to change the topic.

He once again hold my hands "i don't have any. I came back for you. Hoping i could still win you over. Pls this time give me a chance. I know i have a chance knowing it wasn't Rob i am competing with. I gave up when i saw in your eyes how much you love him that we were together then as a couple but he takes your heart with him that makes you numb. I am back and willing to fight for you. All i need is a chance."

"Ian, i am engage"

"How long have you met him? Do you know him too well? How sure are you that he loves you? Did he introduce you already to his family?'

"I haven't met his family nor his only sister and i am not so sure how much he loved me.. But i do love him. And that's enough for me"

"What happened to you and Rob?"

"Nothing.." I tried to walk pass him

"I'm so sorry okay. I just want you back... Na kahit ginawa mo lang akong panakip butas minahal pa din kita."

I stop from walking and face him seeing his eyes already in tears. "Di ko sinasadya. Hindi ko na alam pano pa ako makakahingi ng tawad at makakabawi sayo"
