Chapter 43 Alexa's bday

It's Alexa's birthday and Lea cleared her schedule for today but never gotten a call from Bamboo since the day he send her home. She was worried sick. Why all of a sudden he elope? They didn't fight at all, she thought.

On the hand, Georgina tap his arm a little, trying to wake him up. He opened his eyes and smiled to the woman lying on the same bed with him.

"Hello my love." aa he kissed the back of her hand.

"hon, you're phone is beeping nonstop. Why don't you answer it"

He get his phone on the bed side table and saw numerous text and phone calls from Lea. He massage his temple not knowing what to say or how to explain his sudden disappearance.

"It was her, right?"

All i can do is nod.

"I'm sure she is worried sick. Did she know where you are? Have you talked to her the past few days you were here?"

"no" he sat on the bed.. "What do you want me to tell her that i was with you the whole time? And now she remembers that it's Alexa's bday."

"Alexa? Cha's little girl?"

"yup. The one and only. She wants to go and Alexa wants to see her as well but you know that it isn't possible"

"Can i ask you about that? Cos you haven't explained to me everything yet. What's the revenge all about? Why are you calling her a whore and a homewrecker?" curiosity evident to her face.

Bamboo stiffened and he looks furious upon hearing the questions.

"He is my my brother in law's mistress. The reason why Alexa loss a father and my why my sisters insane."

"You could be wrong. I don't think she can do that"

"She can.. And she did, okay. I just stole her from him and now that she's mine, i'll make her life miserable"

"Like how? By marrying her?? How about me? Where do i stand in your life now? Do you still need me?"

"Of course i do" hold her hand and sincerely look at her eyes "magpapakasal pa tayo diba? Yes i'll marry her but it'll be fake but she will think it's real then by that time i can have her in the palm of my hand"

"You're playing a dangerous game. Baka ikaw lang masaktan in the end."

"I will win this game. And after that when she's broken, i can leave her and we can start anew"

They're now on their way to Alexa's birthday party. He decided to just text Lea that he's sick and just resting so they won't be able to attend the occasion. He felt a little guilty cos instead of getting mad for disappearing for a couple of days, she in return worried at him, even wanted to visit him in his house.

"Babes, wag kana pumunta dito. I am getting better, pahinga lang then i'll see you. Baka mahawa kapa sakin. I don't want you to get sick. Mas mabuting ako na lang"

"Okay but you rest well. I miss you! Pinag alala mo ako ha! Btw ano address nila Alexa? I'll just drop by to give her my gift and i really miss that girl terribly"

"Wag na babes. Sabay na lang tayo pumunta ha when i'm feeling better already"

"But... Baka magtampo yun bata"

"no buts... We'll visit her the day after tomorrow."

After putting down the phone. Lea couldn't relax. She worry too much so she decided to go to his condo to bring some food. She keeps on knocking the door but no one's answering until she heard Rob's door opened.
