He cut me off " he might think what? That i'll steal you from him? Lei, if he trusted you enough then he'll be fine. Pls.. For old time sake? Kahit as friends na lang? If gusto mo talaga makabawi then have dinner with me"

Napabuntong hininga na lang ako. Malaki ang atraso ko sa kanya.. I think a dinner won't hurt besides it's just a friendly date.. Okay not a date, just two old friends going out? Bahala na.. Isaid to myself.

"Okay, but not tonight. I'll call you when i can. Sige na, i have to go" tinalikuran ko na siya at naglakad.

"Lei wait. What's your number?" I told him my no and about to go inside my car when he stop me from opening the door.

"Bye Lei, it's nice to see you again" he suddenly kiss me on the cheeks and open the car door for me. I just smiled back in return. He's still the gentleman Ian i know.

I went straight to the mall but wore a baseball cap and a huge sunglasses so people won't recognise me. I am now looking at my phone inside my bag so i can call francis but i couldn't find it nor i have extra fone. I just walk inside the mall wishing to find him with Alexa. I look in every shop i think he would visit. Like why in the hell do i need to lose my phone now.

Bamboo's pov

I am loosing my patience. She's too late and not even bothering to inform me her whereabouts! I am pissed off. Walang kahit sinong babae ang nagpahintay sakin ng ganito. I tried to call her but earlier it was just ringing but now it's unattended like what the f*ck! Pinatayan ba nya ako ng telepono? Nakulitan ba siya sa kakatawag ko?! One last try, i got my phone and dialled her no.

"Francis?"

"What?!!" I unexpectedly raise my voice, dala na din ng init ng ulo ko. Then nilingon yun nagsalita.

"Is that how you talk to a friend? Or should i say ex girlfriend?"

"I'm sorry Solenn, but what do you want? And how did you recognise me?"

"I know every inch of you, darling." She said seductively. I just cleared my throat to regain my composure.

"Tito, i saw a nice toy right there" Alexa trying to pull my hand.

"Hi there sweety!" Solenn said

"Hello!" She said to solenn then look at me " tito, why is tita Lea taking so long? I wanna see her already"

"Maybe it's traffic. Don't worry i'm sure she's on her way. Why don't you look for the toys right on that aisle? They have nice dolls and playdough." She nod and check on the toys where i can still see her.

"So you're waiting for Lea?"

"Yeah" matipid kong sagot.

"So kelan ang kasal?"

"Soon.. It's gotta be soon"

"Nagmamadali ka naman masyado" she slide her hands on my chest down to my belt and stop.. "How can we have fun if you're married already?" Showing her cleavage more.

She get my hands and put it on her behind. "Can i expect to see you later? Sa condo ko?"

My feet is tired from walking. Malaki din kasi itong mall. Then i remember na di ko pa pala napupuntahan yun isang toy kingdom sa 3rd floor. I rush even though my feet hurt and viola i saw alexa checking on those dolls.

"Hello sweetheart!" She smiled at me and i kiss her cheek and embrace her tight. "Where's tito?"

She didn't say anything but hold my hand and led me to where Bamboo is.. To my surprise if i am not mistaken, his hands on solenn's butt? Or i could be wrong. I stayed in shock and couldn't even talk.

"Tito! Tita ganda is here already!" Alexa said delighted.

He instantly removed his hands and acted normal but i saw solenn smirk at me. "Sorry i am late"

"Too late Lea! Kala ko ba ayaw mo ng mga taong hindi on time?" He got mad at me. Nirereverse psychology ba nya ako? E siya yun nakikipaglandian kay Solenn? Na ex nya?!"

"I cannot use my phone in a meeting, that's disrespectful."

"So why didn't you call after?! Don't tell me wala kang load? That excuse won't work for me." He pause for a second then continue "okay pagpalagay na natin na wala kang load, i was the one who's trying to call you but either you were not answering or turn your phone off"

"Sweetheart, you choose any toy that you want and i'll buy it for you" i smiled to alexa and let her move a little to keep her mind busy and so she won't witness her and bamboo's banter.

"I lost my phone, the reason why i didn't call you. Can you just pls appreciate the fact that i've been here for too long looking for you inside this mall instead of just going home? I am tired and my feet hurt but i chose to go here.. To see you and Alexa but from what it looks like, you got company" i glance at Solenn.

"Wag mo kasi pinababayaan. Sige ka baka maagaw" pang iinis ni Solenn.

"Kahit agawin mo pag ayaw magpaagaw e walang mangyayari." "Desperada!" I just whispered the last word.

"Ano yun? May sinasabi kaba? Ewan ko nga bakit ikaw nagustuhan nya e mas maganda at sexy naman ako sayo.. Mas masarap pa sa kama.. Diba hon?" She bit her lips and stared at Bamboo.

I look at him, waiting for his reaction "solenn, stop it okay?!"

"Lei?" A voice that's so familiar to me so i turn to face him.

"Ian, what are you doing here?"

"Just returning your phone. Nahulog mo kanina.
inabot nya sakin ang phone.

"How did you know i'm here?"

"I followed you and saw you went inside pero hindi na kita nahabol kaya naglibot libot ako, taking my chances to find you"

"Thank you" i tilt to kiss him on the cheeks. "Sorry napagod pa kita."

"Ehem!"

Napalingon kami bigla...

"Ahm Ian, si francis Boyfriend ko"

He butt in "fiance"

"Bambs, si Ian pala.. A very good friend of mine"

Ian offered his hand but Bamboo refuses to shake his hand in return and they stared at each other na parang papatayin ang isa't isa.
