Blurred Lines

Chapter : 19

I open my eyes, stare at the ceiling and the guy beside me sleeping whose arms encircled to my waist. Our bodies were just covered with a blanket, nothing underneath. Everything that happened came rushing to my mind. Yes i am drunk, my head feel heavy but i remember every second of it. I slowly remove his arms, covered my body with a blanket, look for my clothes and wear it. 

I didn't bother to wake him up. I wear my shoes then close the front door silently. My head still hurt but i needed to go cos it'll be awkward for the two of us to talk in the morning considering what happened. He's not my boyfriend for pete's sake and we had sex! what have i done. My feet kinda want me to go to Rob's unit but i gather all the strength not to. Her girl might still be there that pained me. I mean i trusted him.. and gave him a chance.. twice! 

Let me share you a backstory.. We were doin fine. Already engage and planning for our wedding. Everything's perfect until one night, he went out to drink with friends and ended up having sex with a girl she just met in a bar.. He kept it secret pretending as if nothing's wrong then one time while having dinner, he confessed that he needs to marry somebody else because he got her pregnant. That girl is her wife now, Charlene, the one i saw in the parking lot. 

Anyway back to reality. I use a baseball cap to covered my face so people won't recognize who i am. I'm on my way out when i think i saw Rob inside Starbucks on the ground floor. He's still waiting for his coffee as he reads the newspaper. I had the urge to go in.. i don't know, maybe say hi? 

He was in shocked the moment he saw me. I am still in disguise but he know me so well not to recognize me. He approached me and kiss me on the cheek. I don't know what to say. He just stood there and froze till the barista call for his attention and give him two latte's he ordered. He notice the look on my face when i saw the two coffee on his hand.

"Two coffee's? You have any visitor?" i can feel he's tensed.

"no, i just feel like drinking two coffee's today"

"Two? and both Venti? (The largest size)" trying to let him spill the beans.

He was about to answer when someone called his attention or should i say our attentions. There's this tall, morena lady, dressed in mini skirt and spaghetti strap smiling like a devil and kissed Rob on the lips that shocked us both. 

"Hon, ang tagal mo naman e kaya i went here to look for you. Oh is this for me?" she said as she get the other coffee from Rob.

I look at her from head to toe "Oh you've got company. I better go" Rob hold onto my arms to stop me.

"Lea, let me explain" 

"Who is she honey? Is she your friend?" the girl says, she didn't know who i am cos she's taller and my face is covered with a baseball cap. 

"I am a nobody" I said plainly and was about to turn my back but his hand grip on my arms too much that it hurt.

Bamboo's Pov

Woke up embracing pillow, yes, just a pillow. No trace of Lea. Normally i will have sex with girls but won't sleep till morning with them but for some reasons, i felt comfortable lying in the same bed with her and dreaming that when i wake up, it's her face i'm going to see. It didn't happen. She's nowhere to be found, nor notes from her. I get my phone beside the side table and dialed her number just to make sure she's safe wherever she is now. I heard it ring... oh goodness! how can i not hear it.. she left her phone on the couch. 

Wash my face and change into a short and a shirt. I kept on reminiscing the things that happened last night. It wasn't my first time to do it but something about her that made me wanna love her. Am i actually thinking about that??? no... no way!! She dreamt about him. She looks happy. Maybe i'll just go back to my asshole self and pretended that none of those matter to me.

I got my keys and plan to drive around to ease my mind.. i was near the exit when i saw Lea with Rob and if my hint is right, with the same girl Rob's with last night. The girl proudly entwined his hand to Rob and i can sense Lea was about to cry so i hurriedly went in and interfere.

"Babes" I face her and kissed her hard.. let go and stared at her sweetly "You left your phone inside the room. Why didn't you wake me up?" confusion in her face.. and Rob and his girl look so surprised and should i say everyone in the coffee shop cos i forgot to disguise myself. It'll be in the front page of the newspaper for sure. 

"Babes?" a very confused Rob

"Yes, pare! hi! you are Lea's friend right?" i extended my hand for him to shake but he didn't as expected.. The girl shake my hand instead..

"Bamboo, i'm Belle (Isabel Daza) nice too meet you! You live here?" i nod "my boyfriend is also from this place. San yun unit mo?" She said excitedly.. fangirling... a social climber bitch for sure.

"Just around the corner" i lied of course. "What's your name again?" 

"Isabel but you can call me Belle" she's flirting so i put my arms around Lea's shoulder. 

"Nice to meet you belle" she smiled to me and i look at Rob "Rob right?" he didn't answer back.

"We better go before everyone finds out i'm here with MY GIRLFRIEND.. We don't like gossips. balik na kami sa unit ko and go back to bed, right babes?" Lea smiled at me and i kiss her on the lips, she kissed back and hold my face tight.

"Lea wait... we'll talk later" Rob said

"No Rob.." went near to whisper something to his ear "We're done!"

"Let's go babes!" she playfully entwined her fingers into mine and walked out that door.
