Chapter : 13 She's back

"Hon??? who is she????

let go of Lea's hand as soon as i heard her voice but remain seated.

"Solenn???" 

"What?!! Aren't you even going to stand up to greet me?"

I did what was ask of me to do.. Go to where she stand and kiss her on the cheek then she look at Lea who's still sitting and maybe don't even know what to do. So i cleared my throat to diffuse the tension and started to introduce the two ladies.

"Solenn, this is Lea" she stood up and extended her hand but Solenn didn't even bother to accept it instead folded her arms and raise her eyebrows.

"So who are you?!!" She asked with hatred in her voice. c'mon i know her very well. I know if she didn't like someone.

"I just introduced you to her. She's Lea" I said 

"I don't really care much about her name. What i wanna know is who is she in your life?!!" 

"Just a co-worker and a friend" Lea said

saying that i'm her friend makes me happy. I mean, she's considering me as one already.

Solenn made her way to the dining area and look at the table settings and pretty much every thing there and wondering around.

"Wow, how romantic! I didn't know you were this sweet to a FRIEND" emphasizing the word friend while smelling the scented candle. She pick up the wine and pour it on the glass and sip a little. "I like this wine. mukhang mamahalin"  raise her cup and said "cheers!"

Me and Lea didn't even say a word. Solenn put her glass back on the table and look at Lea from head to toe.. "You know what? You are beautiful but let me tell you this..." move closer to Lea's ear as she said this "Bamboo is mine! messed with me and i'll make your life a living hell!"

Lea just shrugged things off.. "No need for a threat. We're just friends" she force a smile then stood up, grab her things then bid goodbye. 

She's about to open the door but at last i had the courage to talk. "Lea, wait!" that earn me a glare from Solenn.

Solenn grip my arm to stop me..

"hon, let her go" she said so Lea just smiled and finally out from my condo. 

I don't know what gotten into me but i remove Solenn's hand on my arm and followed Lea.. She's a fast walker. The elevator was about to close and i saw her inside so i hurriedly went in. She was surprise seeing me..

"bambs, what are you do...." i didn't let her finish her sentence. I just snaked my arms on her waist and kiss her. 

I let go and hold her face "I'm sorry about how she acted"

"Bambs, she is your girlfriend. There's no need for an apology"

The door is about to open and she's ready to go out but i press the button so the door won't open.

I saw her mood change "Why did you do that?"

"what???" i challenge her ask me anything

"Why did you press the button? i was about to go out. Are you out of your mind??!!" raising her voice already.

"Is that the only thing you're going to say?" i said while walking near her, inch by inch. "Aren't you going to ask me why did i kissed you Lea?" her back is already flat on the wall and i put my hand on the wall trapping her in the middle. "If you're not going to talk i'll kiss you again... and who knows what's else i can do"

I felt a push from her "What do you want me to say huh?!!"

"Tell me Lea, do you like it when i kiss you??"

"NO!!!"

Felt defeated so i move back and when the door opened, She bowed her head as she was about to go out but i held her hand and said "I'm sorry but i think i like you Lea" ...let go of her hand as i watch her face while the door is closing.
