Chapter 39 The past

"What are you doing here? bakit ka bumalik?" i remained standing and froze seeing the girl i've been wanting to see for a long time.

"I realised that i can't live without you hon that's why i came back for you" 

"Babes?" i heard lea's voice walking to where i am. wipe my eyes that's tearing up already and immediately close the van's door and hurriedly went to Where she is.

"I kept on looking for you. I thought iniwan mo na ako."

"Why would i, babes..  kinausap ko lang sandali si Pancho" 

She hold my face in between her hands and observing me "Babes, did you cry? kasi parang namumula mata mo"

"Nope, napuwing lang ako' while looking away. She kiss me on the cheeks so lovingly that for some reason made me smile.

"You can tell me everything okay? cos it's seems like something is bothering you"

"I'm fine. Don't worry. Thank you for being with me" while i hold her hand.

she smiled at me and kiss me on my other cheek "Of course my love. You'll be my husband soon so expect me to always be here for you. Walang secrets okay?'

i just nod cos everything about me is a lie..

"So let's go? i don't want you to be late on your meeting. Saan nga pala ang punta natin?"

She asked that made me realized what happend just a couple of minutes ago. What would i do with Georgina... i excuse myself told her i need to make a phonecall so i move a liitle far from her and dialled pancho's number.

"What do you mean she's waiting for me? you know that i can't leave Lea here. Hindi ko responsibilid si Georgina so you can just drop her off to her hotel." i told Pancho on the other line.

"hon? is this you?' Georgina said

"I am not your hon." i sternly said.. "Gerogina, listen... Just tell Pancho where to send you. Siguro naman you don't expect me to take you home. We're over right?"

There's been silence for a few seconds.

"Can we talk? I just need to explain myself"

"Di na kelangan. Sige i have to go. Hahatid ko pa si Lea"

"Sino si lea?'' i was caught off guard.. aamin ba ako o hindi? i asked myself.

"A friend of mine" The first thing that comes out of my mouth then i drop the call.

I put my phone inside my pocket and tried to act normal.. She smiled at me and i open the car door for her without talking. She rub my legs to calm me down..

"So where are we going?"

Her question brought me back to my senses... "let's eat, i know di kapa kumakain baka isipin ni Rob pinapabayaan kita"

"O we already talk not to talk about the past diba? Let's start a new" 

In my mind, how can i start a new if someone from the past is here. She's not just someone to me. She is my first love.. my one true love.. i tried not to think of it and divert all my attention to Lea.

"Where do you want to eat?'

"Anywhere. diba may meeting kapa? after na lang ng meeting tayo kumain"

"about the meeting nireschedule na." matipid kong sagot. 

"Babes, pwede sa mall na lang tayo kumain? kelan nga ulit bday ni Alexa? i want to buy a gift for her" excitement visible on her face.

my mind trying to think of an answer or an excuse. She can't go to Alexa's birthday, Charlene will be there.. malalaman nya kung ano ko si Charlene. Masisira ang plano ko.

"Sa Saturday.. but it's okay if you can't go.. I know how tight your schedules are. She will understand"

"Ano kaba? i'll make time. I can't miss her birthday!"

i sighed and drive us to the mall.. look for toys everywhere. She always ask what kids these days use to play... ang dami nyang binili para kay Alexa. Nakadisguise kami kaya maayos kaming nakapamili.

We removed our baseball cap once we're inside the resto so we can eat well.

her aura change while staring at her phone.

"Who is she?" she showed me her phone and there's a picture of me and Solenn just taling thank goodness!

"Oh a friend" 

"okay, i believe you" she smiled again and back to her old self.

Now wondering who the hell is sending the pictures. It happened before, the pictures seeing her and Rob.. is there someone stalking us? i need to find out.

After our dinner. I send her home and was about to go home but my feet somewhat taking me elsewhere.. I just found myself stepping on the pavement in front of the house i built years ago. I can't remember when was the last time i've been here. This is the house i built for us.. for me and Georgina.. Built this exactly how he wanted. I wandered around noticing that there's a light inside. I have some people to clean and check on the house once in a while. maybe they forgot to turn off the light. I got my keys that's always with me and unlock the door.

I was greeted with a tight hug "I'm glad you're here. I know that you will come here.. for me.. for us"

I froze and remove her hands the moment i got back to my senses "Ano ginagawa mo dito at paano ka nakapasok?!"

"It's our house right? i still have the key. Tinago ko cos i know one day babalik at babalik ako dito."

"As far as i know, i was the one who bought this house so technically this is mine and wala ka ng babalikan"

"But you bought this for me, for us... i am back, we can start a family"

she was moving close to me but i move back

"What the heck are you talking about? There's no us. Matagal na tayong wala, the day you decided to leave me for your ambition."

'Pinagsisisihan ko na yun. natakot ako. I thought i am not ready to settle down. Pls have me back" she's pleading and crying. 

I look down and started to cry as well. She rush into me and Kiss me passionately. All i can do is answer back.. God, how i missed her.
