Chapter : 28 the engagement

I knock on the door and only took a couple of seconds for it to open. He look so worried but on the contrary i have this huge smile on my face. He didn't say a word instead embrace me into a tight hug. I embrace him back and tap it to loosen up. Stared at my face and hold my cheeks. I lighten up the scene by smiling again..

"Hey, what's with that face? Are you okay?" I said with glee

"I should be the one asking you that. How are you hon?" Rob said while staring at my eyes, concern evident on his voice.

"I'm fine why?" Trying to act normal.

"You're all over the news.. You and Bamboo"

"Ah yun lang ba? You know how paparazzi dig for dirty stuffs"

"They have evidence. Someone post a photo of Bamboo and apparently his ex kissing"

"Her name is Solenn."

"So you know her? Just wanna let you know hon that i am here for you"

"I know, ano kaba? Don't be so over dramatic hon. We just have to clean our names. Nothing to worry about" i said to hide how angry, sad and betrayed i felt when that news came out.

I ran to Rob'a apartment to somehow forget this pain. There he is looking so worried and checking on me all the time that made me wonder if he knows about me and Bamboo.

He ask me what food do i want so he can cook but i suggested for us to just order a pizza and burgers. I turn on the television in the sala and put on some good movie. We watch while eating. Laughing when i needed to laugh and crying when i can. He wipe my tears as i lean my head on his shoulder.

The nights getting cold and the rain's pouring outside. He stood up to get some beers in the fridge and giving me one which i accepted. They say alcohol makes you forget and i wanna forget everything about Bamboo.

I plan on drinking just one to two bottles but i wanna feel numb so i keep drinking till everything seems so blurry and my visions started to turn around. The next thing i know., we were kissing passionately with our hands exploring each other's body.

Bamboo's POV

We are all over the news because of that silly picture. Yes we kissed but that's it.. when Solenn started to take off her clothes that's when i realised that what i'm doing is wrong. I said sorry and walk out that door and headed straight to my house (not the condo). I get the picture of Solenn in my pocket and stared at it. Thinking how i used to like her, yeah just like, love is too much of a word and now there's Lea. Do i really love her now? i can't... i shouldn't,  i told myself. I already gave my heart away, waiting for someone to come back.. i've waited for years and i can wait longer.

I fell asleep with hangover and the next thing i know, i am trending on twitter.  I tried to call Lea a hundred times but she's not picking up. I went to my condo to look for her in Rob's unit but i hesitate so i decided to go inside my own place and found out that my door is already open. I walked slowly to check if someone is inside. There is Solenn in her lingerie sleeping soundly on my bed. I tap her shoulder to wake her up..

"Hey, why are you here?" i said in a serious tone. She just smiled and pulled me through that made me land on top of her.

"Don't you like what you see?" she lick her lips and was about to kiss me but i look away.

I was about to stand up but he grab my butt and keep me still..

"May atraso ka sakin. You left me last night"
