In grade seven, I tried out for the football, basketball and soccer team. I didn't make any of the teams except for football. I liked football, it was fun. I liked throwing the ball, and all the sprinting. I wasn't on defence.
I enjoyed the games, they were fun. I also got to skip some classes. On one of the tournament games, when we were on our way to school the football coach took us to McDonald's. He ordered all of us sundaes, he was really nice. He was also my home room teacher for grade eight.
I really enjoyed playing football in grade seven. So the next year, in grade eight, I signed up for football again. I also made it on the team this year as well. But once I came home a little late, and my parents made me quit the football team.
It was really unfortunate, I really loved football.
