I would choose jeans any day. I haven't been through a bad experience with skirts, where as I have with jeans. But I love jeans, especially skinny jeans. I don't buy those skinny jeans, that literally one size smaller than your official size, to make them stick to you. Nah, I buy skinny jeans that are my size, or bigger. Lol, they're usually bigger.
Skirts aren't my thing. I'm not a girly girl, I'm a tomboy. All my siblings think so too. I only wear skirts when I'm short on jeans, or I just use my sisters. Her's are too big though, they keep falling. Right now, I am short on jeans. All my skinny jeans are ripped. Mostly because I'm active, or because I fall a lot. I can't tell the difference. Damnit, I need to buy new skinny jeans before summer school starts.
Anyways, other than that, I probably won't ever wear a skirt. I don't like skirts, period. End of discussion.
