Smoke & Drink.
Ben Dunne.
Her face, painted with the night moon's glory,
the contours and wrinkles of age outline.
Each crevice, announcing a bold story,
announcing tales with jokes, calm and sublime.
Laughing amongst her friends, death in her hand,
raised frail hand, satisfying desire.
She's glad, breathing out, releasing smoke, bland,
wash away the toxins, fight fire with fire.
Raise a second hand, brash and confident,
engaged with the oak of a fine brandy.
Quenching the thirst with a taste so potent,
swallowing, thinking all to be dandy.
Her body's craving strives to condescend,
yet her mind denies it to comprehend.
