Reflection.

Ben Dunne.

Your light may be dim,

a simple, feeble, whim.

Your friends, like rock,

they stand firmly, in their flock.

The task before you, is grim,

odds of survival, are slim.

You move forward, shock!

They stand tight, start to mock.

You're blinded by the darkness,

startled by the power they possess,

frightened of the fear,

the fear you hide so dear.

A true friend, a brother,

vivid and intense like no other.

He steps out, reflects your light,

reflects your beauty, reflects your fright.

Take his hand, take his trust,

accept him, adjust.

Light, amplified,

'friends', terrified.

Shining brilliance upon depression,

annihilating its oppression.

Keep his hand,

just as you planned.

Remind yourself of love,

a problem solved thereof.

Rock obliterated, broken,

your new pal, loud, outspoken.
