The trees curl and furrow the closer they move toward the forest. The mansion shrinks behind them, power rippling through the air as the young alpha son walks with his beta.

Dante moves with his Alpha, smirking as he follows behind a few steps.

Caleb's darkened eyes zoned out into the forest. His wolf edged to the surface with the promise of running free for a while.

The trees enclose them from behind before the two stop in the clearing. Dante turns off towards one side waiting and watching out for trouble as Caleb begins to shift.

Muscles flex and ripple as fur extends into place. Caleb's now dark blue eyes shifted in tone towards a neutral black. His teeth clench together as a gruff growl escapes into the air.

Black fur fills out his form as he's now on four paws. A few white markings darting across his body, a gift from his mother's wolf but otherwise his fur is black as the night.

The young alpha wolf stands squared before his beta after he follows suit. Dante's wolf is grey and silver-toned but looks equivalent to the size of his Alpha, though not by much.

Caleb's wolf is rather sizable compared to the normal shifter but in due time he'll grow to be bigger much like his father.

Caleb's eyes narrow onto the path before them before taking off swiftly. His paws dig into the earth as he moves into the depths of the forest.

He easily and quickly loses Dante as his focus zones into the wildness of his wolf. The path he runs is wild as he skids and bounds through the trees.

His mind drifted further and further from the mate subject. He darts off the end of an uprooted tree, his paws slightly digging further into the dirt as he pushes forward. His wolf is in control as they move through the forest.

For a moment there is calm but it's short-lived. Caleb's mind wanders back to his future mate as he thinks about what comparison she'd have to Skylar. His body ripples forwards as his wolf continues pushing off into the trees.

There is a momentary shift as his eyes cloud with a shade of blue. A gruff growl escapes him as his wolf bites back at his human mental direction. Their speed increases ever so slightly, pushing off another tree trunk and into the confines of the forest.

Back and forth Caleb's mind wonders before suddenly his wolf stops dead in its tracks.

"Stop getting mad at our mate for your inhibitions."

"Shut Up!!"

Caleb's body darts forward swiftly, he grunts out in discomfort as his body shifts and distorts quickly. He falls to his knees as his wolf is forcibly retreating since he's decided to fight against his wolf again.

He huffs out in annoyance and anger before he bites back at his wolf.

"You just had to start that shit again."

He groans out irritated as he moves to the closest tree before sinking in front of it. Leaning back against the tree as he sits there.

Caleb drags his hand through his hair in frustration as he bites harshly into his cheek, cursing both himself and his wolf.

The back-and-forth argument and utter spiraling irritation that follows send Caleb into more anger. Fingers trembling as they dig into his hair, he bites out a harsh groan. Trying to keep from screaming at his wolf.

"You blame her for your inability in finding her."

"FUCK OFF!!"

"Well too fucking bad!! I can't go anywhere."
