Xander's heart clenches in his chest as he lies in a guest room. Sky is currently across the room from him asleep, his eyes staying glued to the ceiling as he listens to her calm breathing.
It's been little over a week since Caleb took it upon himself to attack him, his anger has subsided but his worry is only increasing. His hand clenches into a fist as he thinks about the wounds Elias received from those fuckers.
The discomfort swims through his eyes as he releases an unsteady breath, his wolf lies restless behind his eyes waiting for a chance to rid himself of the heartache.
"They know rotations, the pack layout, names, addresses to offsite homes, and even some of the hidden alcoves and islands the mated pairs use as escapes when the female's heat occurs... There isn't much that's not inside that file there."
A growl fills the air as a fist collides with the surface of a desk.
"Maps of the pack house, the Luna's garden, and until recently the emphasis in securing this room."
Xander's finger lowers to the map between him and the Alpha, a room further from the main areas of the castle. A groan fills the room along with a slight whimper from the female warrior currently hidden by Eric's form.
The day he had came to them he intended to tell them everything but with Sky and Caleb's little show he couldn't so it had been pushed off till earlier today. His chest still hurts with the dread that this will be for nothing.
His hand lies against the white blanket current wrapping his form, his eyes drifting to the wall while the sound of footsteps echo the hall.
"They needed to know."
"Yes but how much more trouble and risk have we placed upon not only ourselves but everyone here."
"They knew the risks when they joined his ranks."
His eyes darkening as his hand drags down his face, the action an attempt to calm himself and his beast.
"We know there is no way we could get Elias away from them without help."
"Move it. FASTER!!"
Aria stares at the Alpha as he stands before his warriors, her chest constricts with the power radiating from his words.
Her eyes close swiftly before the sound of fists colliding fills the air. Her eyes drift away from Issac to the ring in front of them.
A makeshift fighting ring lies before the ninety odd something wolves that encircle the two sparing wolves.
Currently Gael is lowered into his starting stance, a greyish bruise rising against his face. His chest heaves forward as he takes in each breath.
Anger wells behind his eyes as his wolf slinks around in his mind.
Aaron stands on shaky legs as he faces the warrior before him. A black outline rings his left eyes as his movement towards Gael seems slightly different slow even.
The slam of a fist sounds through the air as Aria moves from the circle.
Her eyes close as she moves back towards the house.
"What's wrong?"
Her hand clamps around her arm as she continues inside, the sound of hits resonating against the silence of the woods.
"We are warriors not a justification of his power. His eyes fill with the same madness."
"His anger is justified with the risk not only on the Luna but his son's mate."
