A dark silver wolf slowly slinks down the hallway before Eric as he freezes in his place.  He watches the unknown wolf as it comes to a stop as its ears snap to the side. Blackened eyes lifting towards him for a moment before its attention darts back to the hall before it.

Quickly it darts away from Eric as it continues further towards the other end of the mansion.

Eric remains glued to his spot as a scream echoes the hallway, his eyes shift black as his wolf takes over. The shift is swift and almost overpowering as his silver and white wolf soon stands in his place. His ears shift ever so slightly against his head before he darts after the unknown wolf.

His paws hit the tile as he starts to move faster, he nearly slams into the wall as the hall splits into two. He can hear the sound of paws moving away.

His wolf's ears tilt to the side as he's pinpointing the direction before barreling down the right hallway. He moves faster as the sound only grows further away from him.

He suddenly comes to a full stop as his eyes dart around the hallway. He recognizes how close he is to Rylee's room that sits at the very end of the hallway. His eyes dart from door to door uneasily as he's trying to find that wolf. Eric's ears shift back, forth, and side to side as he slowly begins to move through the hallway again.

The creaking of a door catches his attention swiftly as his eyes snap away from Rylee's room and further down the hallway again. He begins to move even slower down the hall as his head shifts from one side to the other.

His focus drifts towards a window as he catches a glimpse of the garden before his attention is drawn to another sound further from him.

His ear shifts in the direction of the sound but his gaze remains on the garden as he spots a form lying on the ground. His eyes drift back to the hallway before he bites into his tongue with a slight growl.

He moves down the hall before him as he spots the opened sliding glass door between the greenhouse and mansion.

His ears become filled with the slight trickling of water but mostly silence as he steps out into the Luna's garden. He moves slowly through the grass, eyes darting to and fro as he's on high alert.

The shifting of leaves has his ear perked straight upon his head as he stops in his tracks. He looks over the plants for a moment before he continues further into the center of the garden.

He comes to a frigid stop as his eyes sweep over the area, his eyes widen as he spots his nephew. He grits his teeth as he shifts swiftly and darts to the boy.

Eric stares at Caleb's unmoving form for a moment, his hands shake as he kneels next to the young Alpha.

Darkness obscures the room as a slight shifting sound fills the air. A figure towers before a window that allows the moonlight to stream against the wall.

It was close, even with every breath we knew.

Shadowed fingers curl into the curtains as its eyes dart over the wolves below, the fools who celebrate for the boy.

Its brown eyes shifting to black as a growl catches in his throat, fingers tugging against the fabric in his palm. He stares out at the people who had turned in an instant into the worst in existence.

She held that power. Which was only waved before us.

His eyes lift from the mansion and into the scattered woods around it as his breath eases out slowly.

"She was in the room closest to us."

His eyes lower unto the white blanket still draped against the crib to his right.
