"Little one, wake up."

Her eyes scrunch together as her hand moves across the bed in search of him, her breathing quickens a bit.

Rylee's eyes flutter open as her hand slips towards her side, her vision filled with darkness for a little bit before the room lights up. Thunder booming outside the window to her left, her hands going to cover her ears as it overwhelms her senses.

Her eyes move towards her arms as she catches a glimpse of the white bandages wrapping her whole arm. Her movement to get up is shaky as she feels her way towards a door.

She reaches the door as a ripple of pain shreds through her upper form. A slight whimpered scream leaves her lips as she braces herself against the door frame.

Her eyes filling with tears as her hand shakily holds her steady. Her mouth opening and closing on the gasped breaths slipping from her lips.

As she feels everything begin to calm once again her eyes drift back to the door, a heartbeat echoing her ears.

"Why?"

Her hand wraps around the knob as she leans against the wall trying to get out of this dark room.

Lightning lights the room as she pulls the door open. She searches for the light switch as the sound of thunder rings through the air outside.

As she flips the switch she holds her breath but nothing happens, her heart quickens.

Fear fuels her as she crumples to the floor, her back against the wall. The room goes silent again as the night takes hold of the sky.

Her eyes shift around her as she searches for any distinguishable shapes through the dark.

His eyes adjust to the darkness as the lights fade out. A slight laugh erupts from his chest as the sound of his maids bump into things around the hallways.

His movement through his room is swift and without difficulty as his wolf lies in between their form allowing his use of night vision to see through the darkness.

"This storm has gotten worse."

His head shifts left and right as he hears voices and sounds from the rooms around him. A chuckle leaving his lips as he continues forwards.

His eyes darkening as the slight sound of a scream fills his ears.

"She is awake."

His feet move faster as he moves towards her room, his heart thrumming through his ears in anticipation.

A smirk playing across his lips as he finds himself standing before her door, the sound of her quickened heartbeat fills his ears.

His eyes widen a bit as he quietly pulls her door to, his heart shattering a little while he stares at her. Her whole form shaking while her whimpers and silent cries fill the room.

"Don't."

He ignores the plea of his wolf as he moves to the female sitting against the wall of her room, his steps are quiet. His hand brushes against her bed as his eyes land on her, her stare upon the bandages.

Ry's eyes drift to her other arm as her breath comes out a bit fast, her mind working against her will. The pain filling her chest alone shouldn't be possible.

Her senses fad in and out, she cannot make out much anymore as it comes and goes. Her hands cling to her shoulders as she tries to will herself to calm, her eyes shift in and out blurring her vision that much more.

Her head lulls backwards against the wall as her tear-filled eyes move back and forth.

Her form jumps as she feels someone's hand upon hers, her eyes drop to the ground while a whimper leaves her lips.
