•Song of the Chapter: It's Time by Imagine Dragons•

•Rosalie Scott•

It was crowded today at the Italian restaurant, aka: work.

The restaurant was far from home, but it paid very good. I was lucky enough to work here, since I can't eat in it. "Rose, one of your tables near the back needs a champagne refill," Lucy told me, I nodded and fixed my black skirt.

Grabbing a champagne bottle, I moved to the back of the restaurant. Any rich man who appreciate privacy, books a table back there. It always confuses me. When I found the right table, I moved to the young lady first, "A refill?" I was obligated to ask that.

"Yes," She answered, and slid her glass to me. I moved to the young man, I didn't ask if he wanted anything, he just slid the glass. "Don't you want to talk?" The young Lady said, "Calvin," My eyes nearly left their sockets, when they saw it was actually elevator boy I'm pouring for.

It was all in a tiny, messed up moment. The glass was over poured, I tried to fix it, the glass fell in Elevator boy's lap instead, and the the gasping started. "Oh, shit," I breathed.

Elevator boy was looking down at his pants, then up to me, "You? Fuck," Then he stormed off to the bathroom.

"I'm so sorry!" I called for him to hear, my manager appeared from the corner of my eyes. I realized now, that the young lady who was with Calvin, was talking to me. But I stopped hearing what she was saying, after the word 'stupid'.

My manager started to apologize to her, "I am so sorry for her clumsiness, I'll make sure that she'll be punished for that Miss Clark,"

She scoffed, "Punished? Do you know who was the man that she ignorantly poured the champagne on him?" He nodded, and said of course, but she continued anyway, "He's Calvin Reynolds, heir to the Reynolds enterprises–" I felt someone grab me, it was Lucy.

"Come on," She said and led me to the staffs room. "Are you okay?" I didn't answer her, I was shocked. "Rose? Rosalie?"

I blinked two times, staring at nothing in particular, "It was champagne," I whispered, "It was champagne," I said again.

Lucy had turned around, she grabbed something from her locker and gave it to me, "Hey, drink okay? Everything is fine," I opened the bottle of water, and started to gulp some. Without further notice, the staffs door burst open, and the manager stepped in.

I stood up, and placed the bottle down, "Do you have any idea of what you just done?!" Stay strong Rose. "You compromised the restaurant's reputation, by doing that! What were you thinking?! You're pouring champagne, not water!"

I decided to speak, "I'm sorry, sir, but it was just champagne," In return, he scoffed.

"Just champagne? You know what? I'm going to do this weather or not explain yourself. Rosalie, I'm sorry, but you're fired. You've been given so much warnings. Coming to work late, mixing sugar for salt, giving the wrong order, not just once! but I'm afraid that this is the deal breaker." I stared at him, looking for any detail that could assure me that it was a dream. No. A nightmare. But everything was intact.

"What?! You're gonna fire her because of some fucking champagne? Are you serious?" Lucy burst out. The manager glared at her with a clenched jaw. The door opened a little, two employees were peeking through it.

He warned Lucy, "Watch your mouth, unless you want to be fired too,"

Lucy scoffed, "Actually–" I stopped her, before she says something she'd regret. I grabbed her hand, and stared right into her eyes. Her eyes softened when they met mine. And as if we talked, her guarded gesture faded. I gave her a weak smile.
