I was a few classrooms away from the Music room when the voice of the principle echoed from the speakers through the corridor.
She announced that a assembly was to be held in the Auditorium just after the next bell, she mentioned that it concerned seniors and only seniors. Of course, I knew what it was about, so I kept walking to my destination. The bell went off as I opened the Music room's door, and I was surprised to see that it was empty.
I looked around and waited for a few minutes, I peeked out the door at the corridor but no familiar blonde girl stood out, and none of her minions.
The bell ran and I start walking my way to class, I met Adam on the stairs.
"Where have you been? You disappeared."
"Didn't you hear the headmistress? There's an Assembly." Oh, right. He sighed, "Apparently, there's a trip for us seniors. Aria was so excited about it until last night."
I blinked. Aria was beyond excited about it. What could possibly have happened? "Why?"
"Our birthday is in that week. Tuesday," He said. So it was the second day of the trip.
I gasped, faking my ignorance, "Really? Thank you for sharing that," I smiled, "what do you want for your birthday?"
He inhaled, pursing his lips and thinking deeply. Then, he sniffed and smirked, he glanced at me, "A kiss would be nice,"
My eye twitched, and I froze for one second. Then I regained myself and laughed, "Funny, Adam." I walked past him and it took him a while to catch up.
What am I doing? I think I know what Adam is feeling. Am I leading him on? Didn't I want to? Am I attracted to Adam? Then what about Calvin?
Yes. What about him? Nothing. He has a girlfriend. I shouldn't be thinking about him. Let me get back to Adam. No, no, let me stop. The trip is soon. I'll think about him there, when my mind is clear.
When we reached the Auditorium, I automatically looked for familiar faces, and I found him. Calvin. I beamed, "There's Calvin, let's go," I told Adam as I went through the seats toward him.
Adam seemed to have a phone call, he answered, "Aria? Where are you?" He listened and looked around, "Shit, yes, I'll get him," He replied and hung up.
I glanced at him, "What is it?"
He sighed, "Clifford. He's got himself into a fight." He said, rushing to Calvin.
I gasped, "But he can't really fight!" I exclaimed, thinking about Clifford's hurt leg. We reached Calvin.
"Get up, we have to—" Adam started to say, but when Calvin's grinning face met us, Adam scoffed, "Are you serious? You reek of it, asshole. Where did you– you know what? Forget it, for now." He turned to me. "Take care of him okay?"
I nodded, not knowing what he meant, but as I got closer the scent slapped me on my face. "Oh, Hello there," He gave me a boyish side smile.
I gasped, and whisper shouted, "What the hell?! How are you drunk?"
He chuckled, and shrugged, "I've been drunk for a few minutes now." He grabbed his water bottle and took a swig. I knotted my brows, snatching the bottle away.
