Song of the Chapter: Ex's and Oh's - Elle King"Expect anything from the green beautiful monster," -A quote for a future meaning

October has arrived, which meant that my dad had been in a coma for a month now. It's okay, right? Yes, he'll get up. He has to.
Bad thoughts. Bad thoughts! Let's return to reality, and discuss the fact the I was standing before a poster that said:
"How come this is an invite?" I scoffed at the poster, Aria started texting like crazy since she saw the poster, "There's no date, no reference to the place, and no one to ask about it." I stated the obvious.
She stuffed her phone into her bag, giving me back her attention, "It's not an invite. Here, let me explain this to you. This party happens every year since I'd been in this school, which made me realize he or she -whoever hosts it- is in our year. Out of subject, again.
"So, these posters start to show up out of nowhere, it contains a notice of the party, the actual invitation arrives personally, it could be in your locker, bag, electronic invitation, blah blah blah. The invitation has the date and place written inside." She shrugged.
I furrowed my brows, examining the poster again, I noticed a B&W at the bottom left corner, and a symbol in the right one. "Why all the secrecy? Why not just write it on the poster? It could save him/her a lot of trouble,"
She scoffed, laughing a little, "No, it could get us in trouble. See?" She pointed at the poster, specifically on the word Drinks, "Drinks, mean Drinks. Like alcohol." She chuckled at my surprised face, "yeah, last year was the first time the alcohol was involved. Usually, it was just beer."
I let out a breath, "No wonder it's all a secret,"
Aria nodded, "I think that whoever hosts it enjoys it being a secret,"
"I would. but still, are the other students trust worthy? Maybe someone will tip the police or something," I turned around, resting my back against the wall.
She rolled her eyes, "Of course not. The students are picked individually by the host. And plus, no one would dare to say anything, they'd eat him or her alive." I shook my head as I examined the poster again.
Noticing the sign in the bottom right corner again I asked her about it, "That's the host's mark, so we'll know it's him." She answered and clapped her hands, "Oh! This year's theme is Black and White. Classy!" She yelped.
I chuckled as I started to walk away from the board, "Hey, where are you going?" Aria asked.
"Class. The bell will go off in a minute," I waved without looking back, "See ya!"
