"Just dance, Darlin, forget the people, they'll always watch.." -(...)

Song of the Chapter: Groovy Kind of Love by Phil Collins

[Unedited]

My dress was ruined. I didn't bother to try and clean it, because the drink was red, and the fabric was white. It was a very low chance that it would survive.

I couldn't help but let my eyes tear up, then I stormed out, choosing my way through my blurry eyes. I paused before I went to the exit, and saw Olivia and Calvin standing together beside the bar, they seemed to argue about something. Olivia saw me, and grinned, causing Calvin to look as well. I didn't let him look, because I hurried to the exit.

It was a door, then a staircase, another door, then another, and finally the exit. I headed out to the street.  Cold air hit me, I had forgotten my jacket with Aria downstairs. Feeling tickles on my cheeks, I wiped the tears with the back of my hand as I walked in a hurry, that's when I ran into someone, again. Clumsy me.

"I'm so sorry!" I said, it was a stranger, beside him was another guy.

"Can't you look in front of you! Can't you see? You little bitch!" He yelled, I shuddered as my left eye twitched. I started to back away, while they did the opposite. "Oh, guess who gave her a surprise tonight, her period!" The guy next to him laughed. I folded my arms.

"That's not her period man, but she seems to be upset, come with us, sweetheart," The other one grabbed my arm, I tried to snatch it away but his grip was too strong.

"Let me go, you jerk," I punched him with my other hand.

"Hey!" I heard someone shout, and in a mere second, the man who was holding me was pushed away, "Don't you fucking touch her," It was Calvin. "Now, Fuck off before I make you regret it," The two guys chuckled and muttered something, but they went away.

I sighed and started walking, "Rosalie, hey! I'm talking to you! What the hell was that?"

"I didn't need your help, Calvin, I was handling it!" I told him angrily.

"That was you handling it? Oh, that's just great. Are you crazy? Going off on the streets at night, wearing this? Stop fucking moving, Rosalie, " He snapped, I stopped and glared at him, "Those men could've been worse," For a second I was about to argue, but I knew deep inside that he was right. The streets of NewYork were dangerous at night, and I was too reckless to remember.

"Fine, I get it," I said quietly.

He was silent, looking around the street, "What happened?" He said, then glancing at me and gesturing toward the stains of red on my dress.

"I spilled my drink," I lied, as he removed his jacket and placed it on my shoulders. Immediate warmth overwhelmed me, his cologne radiating from his jacket exactly into my nose.

   He paused, "Liar,"

"Rose, Calvin? What's going on?" Adam appeared, his car keys were in his hand. It looked like he was leaving.

Before Calvin could say anything, I replied, "Nothing, I just spilled my drink and I wanted to go home, I'm kind of tired,"
