"What's wrong?
-Nothing (Everything)" -What all of us say.Song of the chapter: Make It Without You by Andrew Belle
• Rosalie Scott •
"A boy came and asked for you yesterday," Diana said. We were just closing the diner when she said that.
I knotted my eyebrows, "Who?" I asked, wondering about the boy's identity.
She shrugged, taking off her apron, "He didn't say. He looked young though, probably your age, handsome," I hummed and sat on one of the chairs, "I'm sure he'll turn up," Diana added.
"Did he say anything?"
She shook her head, "He just asked, and I quote, 'does a Rosalie Scott work here?'. And then he took off when I said you don't work that day," who would search for me?
"Weird. Anyway, Diana I'm going to ask you for a favor," She sat opposite of me, drinking water. She nodded for me to continue, "I can't come to my shift this Friday, I have this party, and I'm going for a friend,"
"Party? I thought you hated parties, dear,"
"Yeah, that's because of that asshole–"
"Nah ah ah, no swearing. You know who," She corrected.
I scoffed, "Who is he, Voldemort?" Diana gasped dramatically.
"We don't speak of his name!" She said with a fake British accent, I chuckled, she did the same, "Anyway, what do you think of wearing? Is it that red dress you fixed for your new job? You said he gave it to you, right?" She asked, smiling widely at the subject.
"Yes, he did. But no, that's not what I'm wearing. I'm going to tell you, but first lets schedule my addition shift, to make up for Friday," I explained, and she rolled her eyes in return.
"Come on, you're going to a party, and all you're thinking about is work? You're a teenager. I should be the one who's worried about work, not you," She said, and boy does she has a point. For a moment there I felt like I was the 53 year old, not her. "And you already made up for that by taking my place when I was sick. I haven't thanked you for that yet,"
I smiled. Diana always supports me. "It's fine. Thank you, for being a part of my life. I can't imagine it without you," Her smile faded for a mere second, then it turned to become a sad one. Diana has always been the emotional woman.
"Don't thank me yet," She said, adjusting her back, "In order for you to be absent, you have to do something for me," I furrowed my brows at her, while she smiled wickedly, "I want you to play and sing for us, Saturday night," I didn't get it at first, but then it hit me.
"Oh, it's you and Carl's anniversary! Congratulations! Wh– wait– did you just say play and sing for us?" I narrowed my eyes at her, her grin only widened. "Diana!"
"What? You will sing for us, and that's final. Now go home, young lady. Get some rest," She stood up, and started to walk away. My mouth stayed open while I watched her get out out of sight.
I sighed, but then grinned. I just thought of a beautiful song to play.

"Oh my god! It's gonna be awesome!" Aria jumped in excitement, while clapping her hands. "Oh my, what should we wear, black? Or white? Or black and white!" I laughed, feeling the itch to go crazy like her.
