"How about this?" I ask Kaye, through iMessage, attaching the light pink trapeze halter dress image. I wasn't sure if it was appropriate for the place, so I decided to ask Kaye her opinions on it.
"Yas, girl!" She replies, making me nod. "Okay, thanks." I reply back. I quickly ran to the bathroom, knowing I took 5 minutes out of the 15-minute changing time given to us, already.
I fixed my wig in front of the mirror, making sure it was still staying there. I could've just dyed my hair with blond highlights to match my wigs, but Zach has to show up. And me, being the idiot that I am, had to meet-up with him and make my life harder than it already was.
I re-applied the light pink lipstick that was kind of on my lips, smiling at my reflection which I think, looks pretty decent by now. I went out of the bathroom, grabbing my beige heels and slipping them on.
I also reached for the black jacket I wore a while ago to the fashion show, just in case it would be chilly later. I finally decided to walk out of the hotel room, quickly grabbing a white purse, and down to the lobby I go.
. . .
I stupidly stared at Cameron's hand which he held out. He just got down from his room, some of his friends, tagging along. The crowd outside was quick to build up, making the security have a hard time on making our way to the car easier.
"Just get it before I change my mind." He whispers, me, mentally rolling my eyes, physically, nodding. I hooked my jacket on my left arm, holding Cameron's left hand using my right one.
He slides his shades on, walking towards the sea of fangirls and fanboys. He pulled me in front of him, which I was about to scold him for because I thought he was using me as a human shield, but didn't do so when I realized what he was doing.
We slowly walked towards the car, smiling and greeting fans through the process. I can feel Cameron's torso on my back, making me wanna puke because of how close we are right now.
I prevented myself from jumping - due to the shock - when he held my right hand, using his right one while I was still in front of him. I just smiled and greeted the fans around, trying to cover up my current emotion.
Some of them might have noticed the position that were in and started taking pictures. Well, damn, another addition to the already-existing rumor about us.
. . .
I was seated beside Cameron around this circular table, knowing just a few people around me. I wasn't a very big fan of formal gatherings, so I tend to get very bored when there's no action taking place.
Yeah, I should be used to this since I get invited to these things a lot, but believe me when I tell you I don't even know how I survived all of those formal events that I've already been to.
"So, how are you doing there?" Cameron whispers, lowkey annoyingly looking at me. "I'm completely fine. Thanks for caring." I smile, sweetly, going along with the flow.
I know he wants to annoy me, and him, seeing me explode would make him feel so much better about himself, and I'm not letting that happen.
"Oh, babe, I don't care." He smiles back. "I just don't want to be embarrassed when you decide to do something stupid because they know that I'm with you." He adds.
"But, aren't you embarrassing enough without my help?" I shot back, batting my lashes innocently. He was completely speechless, and I feel like he was way more than thankful when a camera flash came off right in front of us.
We saw Bianca - who was across from us - holding her camera up. "Sorry, you guys just looked so cute." She says, smiling apologetically, though I'm pretty sure she wasn't sorry at all.
. . .
"I thought we were staying for 5 days?" I ask Niki - who was seated on the chair beside my bed - while packing my stuff. "I said that because you had a lot of costume changing to do." She replies, pulling her legs up.
"Do we really need to leave tomorrow? I wanted to tour Milan." I asked, closing my suitcase. "Our flight is already booked, Bri, and besides, you don't have a lot of time in your hands. You have a lot of stuff coming up." She reminds me as I plopped on my bed, beside Bianca.
"Have you transferred your pictures there?" I ask her, while she was on her laptop. "Yeah." She answers, not even bothering to look at me. "Can I post the one you took a while ago?"
"Which one?" She asks, finally taking a glance on me. "The one you took before we went to the fashion show." I remind her. "Oh, yeah, that."
"Wait, I'll just send you the file." She says, as I grabbed my phone, and went to Instagram while I wait for the image. "It's sent." Bianca informed me, 3 minutes later.
I refreshed my e-mail and clicked on the very first one that was there. I saved the picture, and went straight to Instagram.
"Slaying in red." I caption, before finally posting. My notifications were quick to blow up, but one thing didn't escape my eyesight.
@skiesandhorizons tagged you in a photo
I clicked on it, only to find the picture of Cameron and I from the Bar Martini that Bianca took a while ago. I turned to my side, and saw her smiling at me.
When in Milan
. . .
"Can we switch seats, please?" I ask Bianca, who was in front of me. We have finally boarded the plane that will be flying back to Los Angeles in a while. "No, I don't like the middle seat." She says, plugging her earphones back on.
I groaned, slumping back down. It's not really that bad if I wasn't sitting next to Cameron. Now, I have to spend my next 13 hours with him beside me, all crammed up in this small plane.
I wanted to ask Cameron if we can switch seats because he was seated beside the window - where I wished I was seated on right now - but I'm pretty sure he would disagree and I don't want to hurt my ego now, do I?
. . .
2 hours into the flight, and my butt started to hurt. I couldn't sleep, at all and I still have another 11 hours to conquer. You know what, screw my ego. I'll just ask Cameron if we can switch seats.
When I turned to my side, I was disappointed to see him fast asleep. I could've just woken him up, but come on, I'm not that mean. Or maybe, I was, but I'm pretty sure, he's really tired.
I wasn't being nice, not at all. It's just that, I'm really tired, as well and if we do get in a fight, I don't have enough energy to argue with him.
So, instead, I leaned back on my seat, heaving a deep sigh. My ears were clogged, due to the pressure, so I started chewing on my gum again, harder this time, hoping it'd remove the pressure in my ear.
And that's when I thought of a brilliant vine idea. This may be mainstream, but it's still funny and entertaining to me.
I swiped my phone upwards, revealing the camera. I pressed the front camera, and quickly hit record. I slowly grabbed the gum from my mouth, and showed Cameron in the camera.
I don't know if he was a heavy sleeper, but after this, we'll see. I put the gum inside his mouth - which was slightly open - and stopped myself from laughing when he closed his mouth, and didn't even wake-up.
That was definitely gross, but come on, it was funny, and very vine-worthy. I haven't posted a vine for weeks now, and hopefully, this one could make it up to my 9 million followers.
And hopefully, Cameron wouldn't kill me when he finds out.
