"How about this one?" Niki asked me, pushing her laptop so it would face me. "Hm, that looks cozy, but I think it's too small." I said, pushing it towards her.

She was helping me with finding my own apartment, and I haven't really found the one that I liked. All of it were nice, but it would be too small for my liking.

I want a spacious apartment so I can accommodate more people, since I tend to always invite lots of them.

"Okay, how about this one?" She asked, facing her laptop towards me, again. Taking a first look at it already makes me want to live in it. It was just what I was looking for.

"Yeah, I like that one." I said, smiling. "Alright then, let's head down there and get you your own apartment." She said, standing up from my bed.

I was currently staying in a hotel room, and I will be here until I can move in to my new apartment, which could hopefully be in 3 days time, 3 days before I fly out to Australia.

"Is Bianca coming?" I asked Niki as I slipped on my Vans. "She said she would, but I don't really know where she is right now." She replied, grabbing her purse.

"I'll call her." I said, grabbing my purse, as well. I dialed her number as Niki and I both walked out of the hotel room. It took 3 rings before she answered.

"Yo, wassup?" Bianca greeted on the other line. "Are you coming with us? I found an apartment already and we're heading there right now." I said, informing her.

"Alright, text me the address, and I'll meet you there." She said, me, nodding. "Okay, see you." I said, hanging-up.

"What'd she say?" Niki asked as we both entered the elevator. "She's meeting us there." I replied, typing the address of the apartment complex. "Where was she?"

"Hm, I don't know."

. . .

"I'll call you once you've been approved, alright?" The landlord told me. I nodded, smiling. "Okay, thank you." I stood up heading to the door. "Have a good day." She said, smiling.

"You, too."

I went out of the office, Niki, following right behind me. "Where's Bianca? I thought she was coming?" She asked as we both walked out of the apartment complex.

"She told me she was." I said, taking out my phone and texting her. Soon enough, we hear someone panting right behind us. "Hey, guys." We turned around and saw Bianca, catching her breath.

"Where have you been?" Niki asked her. "I was out with a friend, and apparently, this was far from where I was." She said, opening her water bottle and drank it.

"You ran all the way here?" I asked, kind of amazed, actually."Unfortunately, yeah." She replied, standing up straight. "What the fck were you doing?" I asked, again.

"I was taking a run and decided it would be cool to run all the way here." Niki and I looked at each other and bursted out laughing. "That's what you thought." Niki said, as Bianca glared at the both of us.

"Let's go get food." Niki said, walking over to her car. "Yes, finally. I'm starving." I said, following her. "I'm coming, too. All the running made me hungry."

"Are you riding with us, or do you wanna run there, as well?" I joked, getting in the shotgun seat of Niki's Range Rover. "Blah, blah, blah. It's not funny." Bianca muttered, getting in the back seat.

"Okay, okay, Ms. Grumpy Running Pants."

. . .

"I was approved yesterday, and they wanted me to come over there today. You wanna come with?" I asked Niki on the other line.
