"Do you think we should wake her up?" I hear a whisper from beside my bed. "No." A guy voice answers, making me slowly open my eyes. "Then, why are we here for?"

I turned to face the right side of my bed, revealing a blurry image of Kaye and Zach. "Well, good morning to you two, as well." I smile, yawning. I was just about to sit-up straight, when Kaye decided that it would be fun to jump on me.

"What a good way to start my morning." I groaned, Kaye, getting off of me while Zach was still standing there, smiling at the both of us. "I'm sorry to break it to you, but it's already 6 in the evening." Kaye informs, making me jolt out of bed.

"What?!" I asked, shocked. "Why? Is there something you have to attend to?" Kaye shifts from her position, raising an eyebrow at me. It actually took me 30 seconds before I realize that I was doing nothing all night.

"Oh, yeah, I have nothing planned." I say, pulling my hair up in a messy bun. I'm currently in New York, back in my humble home. I wish I could stay longer than a week, but I have to fly back to LA and find an apartment because I will be living there all summer.

"Great. We can all go hang-out, then." Zach smiles, sitting on my bed. "What do you have in mind?" I ask, sitting on my bay window.

"We can get pizza, then just take a walk." I nod, standing up. "Sounds good." I headed straight to my walk-in closet to change, but not before seeing Kaye smirk at me.

. . .

"I think, they're dating."

"I think, they're not." I answer back, making both Kaye and Zach look at me. "What's wrong with your eyes, woman?" Zach playfully asks, me, rolling my eyes.

"I just think they're not. They can be just friends, for all we know." I shrug, taking a bite out of my pizza. The three of us were just casually eating at this local pizza place when they started bringing Cameron and Brielle up.

When will I escape this topic?

"Yeah, they can, but the way they look at each other, man, I see something else." Zach defends, making Kaye nod. "Probably hatred of some sort." I whisper, playing with the straw on my drink.

"What?" He asks, me, trying to play it cool. "What?" I ask back, hoping he didn't hear what I said. "You said something." I pretended that I didn't, looking at Kaye who was smirking at me.

"No, I didn't." I laugh nervously, taking a huge bite of my pizza, making me almost choke on it. "Anyway, you'll agree with me when you see them together in person." He says, dropping the topic.

"Enough with those Viners. Why don't we talk about you two?" Kaye asks, raising an eyebrow and looking at us teasingly. "Us?" I ask, looking at Zach, only to find him looking at me, as well.

"There's nothing to talk about us, right?" He looks at Kaye, then back at me. I shake my head, smiling. "Nope, nothing." I say, looking back at Kaye who looks like she doesn't believe me.

"Oh, shush. I know there's something going on over here." She says, moving her pointer finger in a circular motion that was pointing towards us. "There's nothing. We're just friends." I say, laughing while Zach was nodding beside me.

"Lies."

. . .

"Wanna sleepover?" I ask Kaye who was on my right. "Yes!" She exclaims, me nodding. "I'll meet you at your apartment, alright? I'll just grab a few clothes." She says, entering her apartment building that we just passed by.

"Okay, see you in a few." I waved, continuing my walk to my apartment building with Zach. "So, are you staying here now for the whole summer?" He asks, putting both his hands on his jeans' front pockets.

"No." I say, brushing my hand through my wavy hair. "Just a week." I add, looking at him. "Just a week?" He repeats, but this time, it was a question.

"Mhmm." I nod, looking down to stare at my white, worn-out Converse. "Why?" He asks, making me look at him. I smiled a bit, before I look at the path ahead of me, again.

"I'm going back to Los Angeles."

"Why?" He asks again, making me release a soft laugh. "You ask too much." I joked, him, playfully rolling his eyes at me. "Sorry for being a nosy friend, then." He says, sarcastically.

"Remember that night in LA where we talked about what we wanted to do now that we're done in high school?" I ask, taking a glance at him, then looking back on the sidewalk ahead of me.

"Yeah, what about that?" He asks back. "I think I know what to do now." I say, smiling at the ground. I probably looked stupid, but whatever. "Oh, yeah?" I felt him looking at me, so I raised my head up and look back at him.

I nod. "Is it fine if I ask you what it is?" He joked, making me chuckle. "Go right ahead." I say, slipping both of my hands in my leather jacket's pocket. "What are you planning to do?"

"This might sound cliché, but I just want to go to another place and figure out what I wanna do once I get there." I answer, slipping my hands off of my leather jacket.

"If I may ask, again, that other place you're talking about, is it LA?" I nod at his question.

"You're coming back after summer, right?" He asks, as we reach the lobby of my apartment building. "I don't know, I'll see how it goes." I answer. "Are you attending Uni next school year, though?" He asks, as we got in the elevator.

I shrug, not knowing the answer. "Maybe, or maybe not." I say, as the door stopped on my floor. "Will I see you tomorrow, though?" He asks, as we stopped in front of my door.

"Of course, you will." I smile. We just stood there for a few seconds, before he started leaning in. I know he's about to kiss me, but I don't know what I should do.

I don't know why, but I started leaning in, as well, but when our lips were just a centimeter apart, someone pulled me inside my apartment.

"Bye-bye, Zach. See you next time!" Raven, my older brother, shouted, before closing the door on his face. "What the fck was that?" I scream, glaring at him.

"No kissing on first dates, little sister." I snort at what he said, walking over to the couch. "You fck on first dates." I point out, plopping down on the couch.

"Hey, we're talking about you, not me." He complained, sitting down beside me. "So, Zach Murphy, huh?" He asks, looking at me teasingly. "We're just friends." I managed to spill out.

"Then, why were you about to kiss him if you're just friends?" He asks, again. I quickly stood up, throwing my arms in the air. "I don't even know!" I say, exasperated, running to my room.

"You like him, stupid!"

. . .

"You kissed Zach?" Kaye gasped, as she was laying down beside me on my bed. "Almost, just almost!" I defended, sitting up straight. "How did that even happen?" She asks, sitting up straight, as well.

"We were just talking about seeing each other again tomorrow, because maybe he wants to hang-out. Then, he kind of leaned in, and I don't know, but I kind of leaned in, as well."

"Then, what happened?" She asked, impatiently. "Raven happened!" I almost-shout. "He had to interrupt and pull me in the apartment." I add. Kaye smirked at me, while I was seated there, all confused with the look she's giving me.

"What?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows. "Sounds like someone has a crush." She cooed, making me glare at her. I haven't really looked at it that way. Maybe, because I was in denial of liking someone who already admitted that he likes me?

I layed back down on my bed, staring at the ceiling, Kaye, following shortly after. I sighed, closing my eyes.

"It's not bad that I might, just might, like Zach, right?"

I like Zach now, I'm so sorry, guys. And oh, I know "Raven" is usually a girl name, but I made a little research and it said that "Raven" is a unisex name, even though it's usually used for girls. But, hey, boys can use it, too, so it's all good. Stay tuned for more! :))
