"You okay?" I asked Cameron as he continued to focus on driving. He took a short glance at me, then returned his eyes back on the road before slowly nodding, as if he wasn't sure.

"Why wouldn't I be?" He asked, sounding a bit bitter. I shrugged, replying, "I don't know. You've been off since you barged in my apartment a few minutes ago."

"I'm fine. Completely fine." He repeated, lowkey shaking the topic off. I nodded to myself and looked out the window. No one said anything the whole ride to the set, and I legit have no idea why he's acting this way.

. . .

"Yo, are you coming with us tomorrow?" Nash asked as he continued to go through his phone while sitting on my couch, not even bothering to look at me.

"What's tomorrow?" I asked, pulling my legs up to my chest upon sitting on the smaller couch. "It's Cam's birthday. The Jacks, Matthew, Carter and I are throwing him a party." He answered.

I don't really know if I should go with them. It's been about 5 days, and Cam still hasn't spoken to me like how he usually does. He's giving me the fcking cold treatment, and it's slowly starting to piss me off.

If he has a problem with me, why can't he just say it in my face?

"So, are you coming, or what?" Nash repeated; this time, tearing his gaze on the phone and looked at me. I shrugged, answering, "We're not really okay, right now."

Nash groaned, slightly rolling those blue eyes of his. "I thought, you're already friends? What happened?" He asked, locking his phone and throwing it towards the other side of the couch.

"He's so fcking cold, man. He won't even tell me what's wrong with him." I replied, kind of getting upset. "Maybe, he was just in a bad mood." Nash tried.

"Yeah, bad mood for almost 5 days. That's completely normal." I sarcastically said. He rolled his eyes, bending a bit so he can reach his phone from the other end of the couch.

"You know what, I won't force you, but in case you change your mind, I'm giving you the address of the place we're holding the party at." I only nodded as response.

. . .

"You sound like you're in a rush. Where you going?" Zach asked through the other line. I was talking to him on the phone, running around to get my stuff through the process.

"Just a friend's party." I replied, putting the call on loud speaker while I put my Gladiator sandals on. Of course, it had to be the complicated one when I'm in a hurry.

"How's NYU?" I ask. We've been finding time to talk every single day, and I think that's a pretty good start. "It's cool." Was all he said. "Sucks that you have to be in Uni, huh?" I teased.

"Well, at least, I'm getting my education." He shots back, making me smile. "Are you lowkey throwing shade at me?" I ask, standing up and grabbed my purse and coat.

"Maybe, I am." He replied, chuckling lightly. "Hey, I'm in college, too. The online one, though." I replied, running out of my apartment. "I gotta go do school works, talk to you soon?"

"Of course." And with that, we ended the call. I impatiently pressed the button for the elevator while putting my phone inside my purse.

I just hope I make it there before Cameron does.

. . .

"You made it!" Nash exclaimed, hugging me. "Yeah, I got bored." I said as an excuse. I was actually planning to sleep in today, but changed my mind. Even though Cam and I are not in good terms, I still need to be part of his special day.
