"Quit staring." I snapped out of my trance once I heard Kaye's voice from beside me. "Sorry, were you saying anything?" I asked her, still taking secret glances to see Zach who was ordering at the counter for the 3 of us.

"Nope, you just looked stupid." She said, shrugging. "You should probably tell him you like him." She added, me, staring at her like she just said something dumb.

"What? You're leaving tomorrow." She said when she noticed I was staring. "I know, but does he need to know?" Now, it was her turn to stare at me like I said something stupid.

"What kind of question is that? Of course he needs to know you like him!" She exclaims louder than I wanted her to. "Brooke likes who?" My heart started beating loudly once Zach sat down with our food.

"You." Good thing, before she finished, my hand was clamped on her mouth, making what she said barely understandable. Zach raised an eyebrow, looking suspiciously at the both of us.

"What'd she say?" He asks, grabbing a nugget, and putting it in his mouth. "She said cute." I mentally punched myself for saying that. Zach raised an eyebrow, looking like he was stopping himself from bursting into fits of laughter.

"You like cute? Cute what?" He asks, sipping on his Coke. "Guys." Kaye says, my hand still covering her mouth. "She said fries." I cursed myself mentally, finding everything I just said, stupid.

"I like cute fries." I finished, taking a handful of fries from the tray, shoving it all in my mouth. I saw Kaye laughing, me, glaring at her.

If looks could kill, she would probably be laying on the floor right now.

. . .

"You're joining Magcon when we go to Australia next week."

"What?" I almost spat the water that I just drunk upon hearing his words. I sat down on my bed as Kaye entered my room through the bay window. "You heard me." He said, annoyed.

"Damn, I know. Stop being such a grumpy pants." I said, annoying him on the other line. "Why do I have to go?" I whined, definitely not looking forward to seeing Cameron for days in a row.

Kaye grabbed my laptop and jumped on my bed, making me bounce and almost fly out of it. I gave her a look, her, giving me a peace sign. "What do you think we do in Magcon?"

"Damn, you need to chill your ass." I say. "Plus, Alex said we're shooting some scenes for the movie." My annoyance with Cameron faded in an instant. Making movies has always made me happy.

"Is that all?" I asked. "Yeah." He replied quickly, hanging up. "What was that about?" Kaye asked me as she was scrolling on her twitter account on my laptop.

"I'm going-" I was stopped by the phone, ringing once again. "Yeah?" I greeted Niki on the other line. "You need to get back here. You're joining Magcon to Australia."

"Yeah, I've been told." I reply, looking at my chipped colored nails. "You're also filming some parts of the movie there." She added, me, nodding. "Uh-huh."

"Cameron already told you, didn't he?" She asked, me, furrowing my eyebrows. "How'd you know it was him who told me?" I ask, laying down and stared at the ceiling.

"He was the first one who was told, so I figured it was him. And besides, he's just the one in Magcon who's participating in the movie." I nod to myself. "Point taken."

"When are you coming back?" She asks. "I'm flying there tomorrow." I reply. "So, I'll see you, then?" I nod to myself, even though she couldn't really see me. "Mhm." I said, hanging up.
