3: The Bet

Joohyun's POV

I shyly walked into the class behind Principal Kim. The whole class was starring at me. Suddenly all the boys started whistling and hollering at me. I guess they think I'm ok looking and I meet their standards. But it hurts that they think I'm just an item. Earlier when I first met the principal, he was eying me too.

I looked up and faced the class. My eyes met with a boy who has nice dimples. He was winking at me. I could feel my cheeks burning. It's probably turning as red as a tomato right now and I'm probably looking like an idiot. Then I looked at a kind looking girl who was smiling at me sweetly. She looked like a down to earth person because she was behaving like a derp. I wasn't even paying attention to what the principal was saying until he turned to me.

"Why don't you introduce yourself." He said politly.

"Hello, My name is Bae Joohyun, but everyone in America calls me Irene! Please take care of me! I said and took a bow.

I look around the class and catch that guy that I ran into earlier, by the gate starring at me. He's weird and of course I feel my face burning again. I can't forget how I embarrassed myself in front of him this morning. I quickly looked away.

"Joohyun, why don't you grab a seat beside Wendy." Mr. Seo said.

I looked up and saw the derpy girl waving at me signaling that she was Wendy. I started to head towards my seat when I realized that I sat in front of the handsome guy I bumped into. While I was walking to my seat, all the girls were giving me death stares. They must be obsessed with these oppa's I'm sitting in front of. I hope my disappoinment isn't
obvious on my face.

Taehyung's POV

Class finally ended after 1,000,000,000 years of lecturing. Irene walked out of class with Wendy, so I unfortunately couldn't catch up to her and talk. I headed to the school rooftop, because my friends (BTS) love ditching classes (except
for Jin Omma and Rap Mon Appa). Jin and Namjoon hyung went to their next class when the rest of us decided to chill.

"Hey did you see that hot new American girl walking with Principal Kim?" Jimin said, rather excited.

"What hot new American girl?" Jungkook yelled. "I always miss out on the good stuff!!!"

"Her name is Bae Joohyun, but everyone in America calls her Irene." Yoongi hyung said.

"Wow hyung, I'm suprised you actually remembered something so quickly, when it comes to school work, it takes you months to remember formulas in math class." Jimin said, shocked.

"That just proves how amazing this girl is." Jungkook said smiling.

I was just listening to their converstion about different things like the summer singing and dance competition when suddenly I heard the name Joohyun mentioned again. Man, they can't leave this girl alone!

"Why don't we make a bet between the 5 of us?" Hoseok hyung said.

"For what Joohyun?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeah, the first one that can make Joohyun fall for them within a month, can get a chance to go zip-lining in the Amazon jungle!" Hoseok hyung said.

We all scoffed.

" Who's gonna pay for it, your dad?" I said sarcastically.

"Sure why not, he's going to Brazil next month for a business trip, he said if you and your firends want a vacation, he's there for us." Hoseok hyung explained.

"Well, if your dad is willing to pay ALL exspenses, then I'm in." Jimin hyung said.

"Well, I have nothing better to do." Yoongi hyung joined.

"I don't know guys." Jungkook and I both said in sync.

"It doesn't feel right." Jungkook kept on going.

"Oh, come on maknae. Let loose and have fun for once!" Jimin hyung was trying to persuade him.

"And come on, Taehyung, your usually the first one to agree to these kind of bets." Jimin hyung continued.

"Well I guess I'm in then." I said.

"Me too." Jungkook finally agreed.

We were about to use a goddess. Why do I feel bad to do this to her? What is she to me? I mean I just met her this morning!!! It wasn't even a proper introduction!!!!! Wait, what are you thinking Taehyung? You're suposed to be happy you have a
shot with a girl like Joohyun...
