Taehyung's POV

I came back from the jungle with two coconuts in my hand. I brought one back for Joohyun. My plan was to make her nervous and anxious. I love torturing her mentally.

Right now, when I return, she should be hungry, pouty and sitting there, not knowing what to do. She'll look at the coconuts and act like she doesn't want them. Then I'll have to apologize, and only after that, she'll eat and drink the contents of the coconut happily. Victory will be mine.

Her reactions are kind of cute. No mater how much I try to get rid of her, my heart doesn't listen to me. The heart wants what it wants. I want to get rid of her desperately. Just so I don't have to hurt her. When she did that prank at the hospital, I thought about, what if it actually happened. What if she actually forgot about me. I would be the only one to blame as I didn't stop her from contributing to the plan again Kim Jung Soo. She's too precious to loose. Too innocent, pure, beautiful and kind.

I don't want to be the one to be the end of the thing I love the most.

I'm doing this for you Joohyun... only for you. No matter how much I need to insult you, hurt you and ignore you, I will make sure you hate me.

I came on the empty beach, not seeing Joohyun freaking out, crying, cursing, or heck even sleeping. I set the coconuts by the blown out campfire and went to the tent to check if she was there.

I knocked on the door this time to make sure I don't invade on her privacy like last time.

"Irene?" I said as I knocked.

"Irene?!" I said a little louder just in case she was sleeping.

No noise was heard from inside the tent. I started to panic.

"Irene?!!!!" I yelled while unzipping the tent and looking everywhere like a maniac for her. The tent was empty. Where could she go? I didn't want to make her hate me so much that she should walk the 12 acres to the couple next door.

But what if she went looking for food? I thought.

Then she should be back in twenty minutes or so. I sat down on the log that was set around the campfire and grabbed a coconut. I was about to grab a knife to open the coconut with until my eyes landed on the ocean.

It looked so peaceful. It reminds me of how Joohyun would tell me about the swimming competitions and how she would always win first place. She'd always tell me not to be jealous about all of the other make contestants that saw her in a bathing suit.

I kept staring at the ocean until I saw something bobbing up and down in the middle of the ocean. I saw arms flapping everywhere, and a head going up and down. Someone was drowning, but I couldn't tell who it was from the distance.

I ran into the water and swam as fast as I could.

Right arm, left arm, breathe. Right arm, left arm, breathe. Just how Joohyun taught me. That's my mantra right now.

As I got closer to my target, the person drowning was identified.

It was Joohyun.

I swam as fast as I could towards her, not wanting her to go this far away from me. She went underwater leaving me no choice but to go after her. She was sinking fast, but I was faster. I got a hold of her wrist and and pulled her up with me.

Once I got to the top, I gasped for air. I then wrapped Joohyun's arms around my waist, making it easier for me to take her to shore with me.

Once I reached the shoreline, I took Joohyun by the waist and made sure she was a good distance away from the water. I took my fingers to her neck to see if she still had a pulse. Thank god she did. I took her left foot and rubbed it to see if she would become conscious again. But no luck. It was time for me to perform CPR.
